"This is the palace's library," Allura chirped.
"How many rooms are in this castle," I let out a soft sigh, and pictured Keith in my head once again, Blue had stayed behind with Keith and the red lion. I shook my head vigorously to try and escape the spell he had cast upon me.
"What's wrong?" Allura asked as she placed her hand onto my shoulder.
"Nothing," not like I can tell this maiden I have fallen for a man.
"You know, the lion that was accompanying you today is considered a very special creature in our kingdom," Allura's eyes had become stiff and serious. "How is it that you came upon the blue lion?"
The blue lion and me? "I guess, I mean, he has been with me ever since my birth, I can not think of a moment he has not been around," how was it that me and Blue became acquainted?
"Let's introduce you to the whole group," Allura's tone had changed and was now back to its original excitement.
Allura raced down the large hall until she was facing enormous golden doors.
"Wow," I let out unconsciously.
"This is where we will be taking our lunch break," she announced as the doors slid open majestically.
The room was glowing and caused me to raise my hand to block out the sudden light. Once my eyes had adjusted I lowered my hand and gazed into the glorious room. More than a room, this was a terrarium.
A table was set in the middle of the space, and it held three other people, and three other lions.
Allura ran over to the table and slammed her hands down on it's fine glass top, causing the people positioned at the table to turn their attention to Allura.
"We have a guest," she announced, and beckoned for me to join her. I felt unwelcomed, but still walked over to her. The people at the table all looked unique, they were definitely not related by blood. There was one girl and two boys who did not look of royal blood, or seemed to possess any manners.
The older looking man stood up and looked me up at down. He extended his arm and I took it, recieving his shake.
"Hello there young man. My name is Shiro," his voice had authority, he seemed friendly, and his handshake was incredibly strong. "This other man here is named Hunk, and this young lady is Pidge, they are both really nice, but at the moment they seem to be in a quarrel, so don't mind them," Shiro urged. I looked over at them and bowed my head a little. "The other man of the house is Keith, but he is not here right now." Keith. The male I met before, the gorgeous one.
"Lance has a lion," Allura's voice broke right as the door we had entered earlier was beckoned open and Keith, Blue, and the red lion entered.
I felt my body swirl around and my face heat up, but before my face had gone to a deeper shade of red, Blue pounced on me.
"H-hey! Get off me you big oaf!" I yelled playfully. Blue jumped off me, and a delicate hand came into view. I looked up confused, until I saw Keith's face. He smiled down at me. I hesitated, but took his hand, not trying to put force into it, I didn't want to hurt him.
They were smooth and defined. His fingers where thin and delicate, compared to my hands, his were tiny.
After being pulled up, I held his hand for longer than I should have. He let out a worried sigh.
"Did you hurt yourself," he asked.
"No! I'm alright! Alright!" I pulled my hand away from his and spun around to face everyone.
"Now that you've met everyone, shall we explain to you the significance of the lions?" Shiro brought up.
"Significance of the lions?" What was he talking about?
