Born in Sugarland and raised as the next queen, tragedy struck when her parents was killed under mysterious circumstances. Deemed unfit for the monarchy, she and her younger brother were supposably executed. Instead they managed escaped, but at the cost of Dacquiose's life. After that, Baroness tried to kill herself, but the Devil intervened. Baroness made a deal and exchanged her soul for her old life back. Realizing what she done, Baroness quickly stole her contract and ran away.
She wandered for many years, finally settling in one of the cities. She established her own restaurant, hiding from the Devil's wrath. Eventually, she met Felix and befriended him. They went on a couple of adventures together and even had a relationship at one point. She broke up with him after realizing the Devil would try to target him if he ever found out.
After a while, Felix came back only to bring the Questers with him. He convinced her to help them find the Ink Machine. She reluctantly agreed, secretly plotting to destroy her contract once and for all. While traveling with them, she started forming friendships. At the start she had a bit of a rivalry with Cuphead, some would even call it hatred. That rivalry shifted into respect then changed into appreciation and finally blossomed into love. When the Devil found out that she was still bound to him, he tried to use her as a puppet to kill the Questers. Thankfully, she was able to break from his control, but he left her tainted. The stains the Devil left on her soul infected her and did a number on her sanity. She struggled to keep her mental state.
When Cuphead refused to kill Bendy, the Devil destroyed the Ink Machine and tried to kill his brother. Baroness was hit instead after pushing Mugman out of the way in a fit of insanity. She was fatally wounded. Alice used her magic to rebuild the Machine and healed Baroness's injuries along with her mind. Fully sane, Baroness finally destroyed her contract with Alice's help.
Personality:
A real gal. She's an excellent chef and has a sharp tongue. Her stubborness makes her hard to deal with sometimes and often tiring. She's very good at arguing and prefers to be the right one. She's a little on the crazy side when she loses her temper and it's often best to steer clear when she's a little annoyed. She's more of a bitch then a babe and will not hesitate to kick your ass. Despite that, she has a relatively sweet nature, if you get to know her.
However, her tough demeanour hides the scared woman she really is. She's afraid of ever having a family due to her past and prefers to do things solo. She's rather nervous around her kids because she works a lot and doesn't spend as much time with them as Cuphead.
