Lucas' POV:

"You're lying right!" I screamed to my mom.

My mom has just recently told me that my whole family is moving to New York. New York!

Currently my family and I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and I love it here.

New York is to cold! Plus California is now really far! Ugh.

"I'm sorry Lucas but we already bought the house. Plus you'll still have me your dad and Nathan." My mom said.

Nathan is my cousin who is living with us. His parents had died in a car crash two years ago. He is almost 18.

"No! Nathan is going to college next year!" I said.

"Lucas it will be fine. Trust me." My mom said.

I sighed.

"When are we moving?" I asked.

"Next week."

I sighed once again.

NEXT WEEK IN NEW YORK.

It was currently Monday and it was my first day going to high school. I'm attending John Quincy Adams high school. My mom pulled up to the front of the school.

"Ok Lucas. The key is to talk." My mom said.

"Fine mom." I said.

I grabbed my book bag and left.

I walked into the school. Kids were everywhere. I walked to my locker. I grabbed my notebook for history and left. I turned around and ran into some girl and spilled some drink all over her. She gasped.

"I'm so sorry." I said.

"You..weirdo! Watch where you go!" She screamed.

She had long blonde hair and blue ocean eyes.

"I'm so sorry do you want my jacket?" I said taking off my jacket and handed it to her.

She took the jacket and admired it.

"I don't even know you!" She said.

"But I'm sorry I didn't see you."

"Obviously."

She threw my jacket back at me and left with girls following her.
