Jennie's POV
"Because of Rosie," I sighed, "I have Philophobia."
"You have what?" Jisoo questioned back.
"Philophobia," I took a deep breath. "The fear of falling in love."
Jisoo's face softened. "Am I . . ."
I nodded.
"I'm so sorry."
"No! It's not your fault I'm . . . I'm falling for you."
She chuckled. "You know, I don't blame you."
I was confused. "For what?"
"Being afraid. Falling in love is like handing someone your heart. Trusting them not to drop it, or give it back, or worse, run away with it, like Rosie did."
"Well, it doesn't seem like I'm missing out on much anymore."
Jisoo giggled. "The positives way out weigh the negatives. Once you've found the person it's amazing. When you fall in love, you find everything about that person perfect. Their flaws. Their quirks. Every time you're near them your heart pounds and you will it to stop, but you don't really want it to."
"I remember that," I started shaking. "But it all changed!"
Jisoo grabbed my hand to steady my body. "I'll help you."
I looked up at her. "Thank you."
She smiled. "You're welcome."
