SHORT
_______________________________________________Toby flinched as a roar of thunder woke him up. 'Damn, a storm', he thought, groaning. Toby had never been fond of storms, he always had his sister to help him through the bad ones, they sounded like his father breaking something like a beer bottle on his head. Slenderman knew about this and made sure he has soundproof walls so not much would be heard. This time, Toby has no soundproof walls, he is screwed. Sometimes he sleeps through, sometimes he just stays awake. Those were lighter then this one, it was like five rockslides together. He hated it.
Toby took a glance at the clock.
"Twelve in the morning.." He mumbles, throwing the sheets off his body. He stands up, flinching at another strike of thunder echoing in his ears. He walks up to his dresser, grabbing a comfortable enough jacket. He slips it on, ignoring the frozen feeling on his face. He walks to his bathroom, turning on the tap and drenching his face with water, ends of his hair soaking. He groans, rubbing his tired eyes as his vision clears up a bit from the blurryish mess it was before. Turning off the tap, Toby silently yawns. He had only had five hours of sleep during the week from all the thunderstorms, and this added only one hour, and its only now Saturday. He walks over to his bed and grabs his blanket, shivering. He winces as another round of thunder and lightning sounds, heavy rain coating his window.
Toby wraps his blanket over his shoulders walking out of his room with no sound, going to the livingroom for now. He's just going to be occupying himself with reading or whatever he can do. During the week he had read almost all the books in the house, watched every movie atleast five times, and more, its getting boring in his opinion. Toby plopps himself on the couch, his eyes droopy.
"Rogers?" Was heard from the doorway three minutes later, Toby had dozed off, his arm on the armrest as his hand supported his head. He jumps a bit, looking up.
"Yeah?""What are you doing awake? Hoodie and i know you've haven't been getting sleep but you've been up an hour ago." Masky asks, earning Toby dozed off again.
"Wai- wha-. Oh, just cant get to-(Toby yawns)- sleep, i hate storms." Masky nods walking over, sitting next to the brunette.
"I dont mind storms, why do you not like them?"
"You know my backstory.."
"Oh, reminds you of-"
"-Yeah.."They sit in silence, Toby struggling to keep from wanting to call out for Lyra, shes been dead for two years, hes not going to give in. Of course, that completely blows as a loud 'BOOM!' echoes throughout the house. Tobys eyes water, fear engulfing his eyes as Masky stared.
"Toby, lets go to my room." Masky gets up and Toby trails behind, closer then normal people should be. Once they arrived, another boom of thunder came, making Toby flinch.Masky takes off his mask, putting it aside and on his dresser, also taking off his vest. It got threw to the side of the room. Tim has no shoes on already so he grabbed Tobys arm and dragged him in his bed. Toby was still holding on to his blanket so Tim threw it aside, pulling his over them both. He held the brunette, bringing him to his chest. Tim has a black shirt on, which seemed it was underneath his jacket.
"Shh, Toby, its fine." Toby slowly calmed down. Usually Tim and Brian, or Masky and Hoodie as their called, would call Toby by his name instead of Rogers if somethings happened. Thunder clapped as Toby calmed down, his fear of thunder going away for the moment. "Toby, you can come to me whenever, you know this." Toby didnt listen, dozing off as he stared into Tims brown eyes, looking at his face.
He groans flipping over and digging his face into Tims collarbone. A soft kiss got placed on his cheek, making him look up. He flinches as thunder was heard yet again, Tim planted his lips on Tobys, calming them both down. Tim didnt mind thunderstorms but they did make him flinch from time to time, or get anxiety. The two break apart, Toby passing out from the lack of sleep he's been getting.
Tim smiles, chuckling. He closes his eyes, holding Toby close. He doesnt notice his door opening, or a click of a camera sounding as he dozed off.
