5 years later
Every time people met the two sisters Han Lihua (Han Yue's daughter) and Han Niu (Han Ying's daughter) for the first time they would somehow lead themselves to believe that Han Niu was the consorts child because for some reason in their hearts they just couldn't bring themselves to believe the stunning, gentle, kind child Han Lihua, who was so different to the spoilt cry baby Han Niu could be an illegitimate child. So when they found out they were deeply shocked.
Due to this misunderstanding as they grew older Han Niu became hurt and started to loathe and hate Han Lihua. This was because of how much everyone from servants to family members or non family members would smile and love Han Lihua as soon as they met Han Lihua, but when they saw or met her they would either be afraid (the servants) or scowl when the saw her. However there is a reason for them to be like this as this young child Han Niu was a rude spoilt girl who treated the servants like dirt and bossed them about worse than her father, and her family members just didn't like the high self loving aura she gave out.
For Han Lihua it was a different story she had helped the servant out since she was young and spoke to them gently like the were brothers and sisters of hers, as for everyone else they all just saw her kindness and gentleness emitting from as soon as the met her .
Yes it was true that Han Lihua was was a kind, gentle girl but nobody seemed to know the addition of how smart she was.
She read books everyday in her quarters and learnt a great amount. Chu Xiaofan (Han Lihua's personal maid) had never seen her lady without a book in her quarters. From those books Han Lihua learnt about medicine, acupuncture, the human body, the types of plants and animals, the laws of the kingdom etc. This girl Han Lihua was probably more knolegeble that her father at the age of 10. It was also at this age that Han Lihua's darling mother died from an unknown disease. The night Han Yue died Han Lihua cried for the first time in front of people nobody had ever witnessed the child cry as she was strong and was always smiling so this cause the whole household (excluding Han Niu and Han Ying) to be sad for the 2nd lady's death but mostly on the news the the young missus cried the thought of that brought their hearts to sink.
A thought brought Han Lihua to stop crying. Even though the doctor claimed her mother had died of an unknown reason Han Lihua was still quite suspicious. Months after her mother's death Han Lihua gradually started to become weak and she started to lose her sense of hearing. What she came to understand was that it must be her 2nd mothers doing as she was the only one who had been giving her medicines and soups to help her get better. She got the conclusion that her 2nd mother was giving her a poison that was slowly killing her so obviously she stopped accepting them but by then she was terribly death and had poisen marks on her face that made her ugly this made her have to be excluded to staying in her pavilion and covering her face with a veil hat.Because Han Lihua was smart she got rid of her poison at 14 years of age and was even more beautiful than she 11 years ago as she was now 16 years old. She had radiating beauty that would refresh your mind and make you continue watching her.
Han Lihua however did carry on pretending she had her illness or curse as everyone put it because she was more at peace this way also she would easily be able to solve the case of her mother's death without drawing suspicion.
It was tough on Lihua as everyone treated her like trash even the servants she had grew up with and helped since young. Her father was disgusted with her as he thought she was a disturbance and trash to his household.Because of this Han Lihua felt betrayed and gave up on the word love she felt nobody would love he so why should she. Her father treated her as if she didn't exist leaving her in her pavilion cold and alone. If only he had sent someone to check on her he would realise that she is not death in the ears or scarred anymore but because of that belief in his mind that she is those things, and him not wanting anyone to even know about her he forced himself to forget her and exclude her from his life.
