Some advice that i have is to do tests. This is so the person you are teaching has a higher percent chance of remembering what you are teaching them and would more likely carry on learning as it will motivate them to carry on. Another way why it is good is so that you and the person you are teaching can track their progress which will make it easier to see what they need to improve on and so they can see how much thy need to improve. This will kep them motivated and will make you a better teacher as you will be focussing on their weaknesses and not what they already know.
