Chapter 21 : The Truth 🍁

Darshan put down the coffee mugs on the table without taking off his eyes from Nishit. Nishit also looked at him and smiled awkwardly.

"Why you came so suddenly?", Darshan asked.

"Aarushi called me and told about Neha so I thought to visit once and I was also missing you guys.", Nishit blinked with a smile.

Darshan faked a smile too.
"But your work is important na. It's not needed to come. I was here.", He said.

"Tujhe Keya Ho Raha Hai. Usska Kaam Hai Wo Dekh Lega.", Aarushi said from behind.

Darshan gave her a death glance.
"What? Why are you giving me looks?", Aarushi asked.

"Nothing.", Darshan turned his head around.

"And what's the reason behind your anger?", Darshan asked.

"Nothing. It's nothing.", Upasana said again.

"No tell me.", Darshan demanded in a little bit of anger.

"You don't have any time for me Darshan. Sometimes I feel if we're really in some relationship or not.", She said.

"I try Upasana. I try my best to give you time. You know about my profession. It's not always possible.", He told.

"That not my point.", She said back.

"Then what is it?"

"You always have time for Neha but not me.", She spoke.

"What? Oh so you're upset about last night?", He asked.

Upasana said nothing only nodded her head in disappointment.

"Upasana I told you everything. After all these things you're saying it. I thought you'll understand.", Darshan said softly.

"I understand Darshan. But not every time. I know she is your best friend. But I want time too.", She said.

"Yah but..." Darshan stopped at they heard the door bell rang.
Upasana went and opened the door.

"Hey.", Neha and Aarushi were standing there with a smiling face.

"Hi.", Upasana said.

They walked inside.

Darshan looked at them and said, "What are you guys doing here?"

"Why can't I come to Upasana's place?", Aarushi asked.

"Of course you can guys. Come.", Upasana smiled forcefully and took them to the dining room.

Darshan looked at Upasana who gave him a death glance, surly disappointed in their sudden appearance.

"Sit guys I'm coming.", Upasana said and walked to the next room.

Neha and Aarushi looked at eachother and sat down.

"What you wanna do Aaru?", Neha asked.

"We need to go to her bedroom.", She said.

"What?", Neha asked.

"Shut up don't shout.", Aarushi shushed her.

Upasana stopped in front of Darshan and said, "Thank you for calling them here too."

"I didn't call them.", Darshan defended himself.

"Doesn't matter anymore na.", Upasana walked to the kitchen.

"But what's my fault in it if they came.", Darshan went behind her.

"Nothing. It's my fault.", She said.
