A Crisis Is Coming

"What the heck happened here," asked DiNozzo looking at one of the robot parts. McGee looked at one of the heads and thought it looked familiar but couldn't put his mind on it.

"Found the marines," said Ziva hovering over a couple dead bodies. Ducky had showed up by then, climbing out and arguing with his assistent Palmer.

"So sorry Jethro. Mr. Palmer got us lost again."

"Doctor, you had the map."

"You gave it to me." He walked over to the bodies, taking notice of the bullet holes in each of them. "Mutiple gun shot wounds in the chest."

"Boss found a casing," said McGee. Gibbs walked over to see a bullet casing. It looked to be from a 22 pistol but he couldn't be so sure without his glasses. Ziva took pictures of the scenery before Ducky got the stretchers out.

"DiNozzo, Ziva, and McGee bag and tag." DiNozzo grunted as Ziva put away the camera and started working.

"Where are you going Boss?" asked McGee.

"To find out who those marines are." With that he sped off in the car.

"Tony, this would go faster is you helped."

"This is going to take all day," he said looking out at the robot piles.

"Tony, staring at the robots isn't going to get them bagged for evidence," said Ziva.

"Last time I saw this many robots was on a game," said McGee.

"What game was that McGoober?" asked Tony.

"The Sonic games...."

"So you're saying that Sonic's buddies are coming here?" asked Ziva.

"These aren't his buddies, Ziva. These robots try to kill him and he destroys them. These robots belong to Dr. Eggman."

Gibbs had reached NCIS HQ in no time and had started on giving the pictures to Abbey for her to identify.

"Gibbs, what was it like there?"

"Like a battle with robots."

"Robots? What did they look like?"

"Like robots. Abbs what are you getting at?"

"Sonic fought robots his entire life with Eggman right behind them. If Sonic's here with his family, then Eggman might be here too. The robots may just proove that. Have you had any word from them?"

"None Abbey."

"I miss that little girl. She was so cute. She's the spliting image of Amy."

"I could see her Father in her as well."

"She did have some of Sonic in her....even the speed. But anyway I'm almost positive Eggman is here if you say robots were at the crime scene."

"Then that means...."

"Only Sonic knows how to get him." Gibbs nodded and pulled out his phone.

"Hey, Vance. Would you be able to contact our little friends?"
