Chapter 11

Setos POV

After we had all finished goofing off, we sat down to eat breakfast. I was on my way back from the kitchen when Sky popped up right in front of me. I was kinda used to it, being I knew all along about his powers. I kept walking toward the table, Sky tailing behind me, when I asked, "Whats your question Sky?"

He replied, almost hesitantly, "Ty and I were talking, and would like to ask you if you could find out the extent of Rainnes powers, and if you could possibly help her out with them?" 

I looked over at him, and nodded, "Of course. I would also like to know the extent of her powers. I will talk to her after breakfast." I then sat at the table, and happily began eating my bacon.

~After Breakfast~

"Hey Rainne!" I called after her. She stopped, and I ran over to her. "Sky asked me to see how strong you are with your magic, and your powers. Is that ok?" I asked.

She looked at the ground, and sheepishly replied, "Alright, what do you have in mind?"

I thought for a moment, "Well, we could do a little duel. You against the stronger hybrids, one at a time? And no killing each other."

She looked back up at me, excitement in her eyes. "Ok!" she replied, ''Lets do it!"

~Time skip to dueling!~

We moved the table and furniture from the dining room, and were going to do the dueling in there since it was the biggest room. Rainnes first opponent was Quentin, and they both looked a little nervous.

Rainnes POV

I am so scared to fight Quentin! I don't want to hurt him, but sometimes I cant control my powers once I'm using them.

I took a deep breath, and looked over to Cameron, who gave me a thumbs up. I smiled a little, and turned back to Quentin. '' Three, two, one, Go!"

He shot little dynamite sticks toward me, and I said a small counter spell back. "Ad vos, discedite a me"  They shot back at him, and he ducked to avoid them while they blew up like little bombs. Before he could recover, I said another spell that would freeze him in place."Frigidus in loco nihil mali fecerit!"

Quentin was stuck, frozen in place. He couldn't move, but he could speak. ''Awwww no fair! Now theirs two magic people!" He whined, "Un-freeze me you butt!" 

I smiled, and flicked my wrist, so he wasn't stuck anymore. "So who's next?" I asked. I was starting to trust myself with my powers again since I didn't hurt Quentin.

"Me" said Jason, walking in front of me.

I grinned, "Don't hold back"

He laughed, "Alright, you asked for it."And took off his spacesuit to fight me as the Wither.

I looked over to Seto, and saw him smiling. "Three, two, one, GO!"

Jason floated up in the air, and started shooting exploding Wither heads at me. I dodged, and rolled out of the way. I started up my flame ability, and shot a few non-hurtful fire balls up at him. One hit him, and he was knocked onto the ground. He got back up again, when I started another spell. "Vim virtutis, salvum me fac!" It formed a force field around me, and Jason rapid-fired wither bombs at it, but it didnt break.

This went on for a few minutes, until he dropped to the ground, exhausted. "Alright! Alright, you win." He got up, put his suit back on, and walked over to me, panting, "Good job, your powerful" shaking my hand. I smiled at him,"So are you! My force field was getting weak toward the end."

''Alright! Rainne you will be up against Sky, Ty, and me tomorrow!" Seto said, smiling. "Alright! See you tomorrow! I'm exhausted!" I said, and walked away. 

Once I got to my room, I took a shower, changed, and plopped myself on my bed. I stared up at the ceiling, only three more to go right?
