Chapter 5

A quick note, the entire chapter is from Jason's point of view  :3

Jason's POV

        I walked into my room and shut the door, leaning against it. I started taking deep breaths to calm myself, and started to think, 'I can't believe how calm I acted about that' I thought, 'I mean I probably should of freaked out a little, right? They were just kissing AND Ty looked like the EnderDragon'  

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever..." I huffed, and looked around my messy room. I had a king size bed with space themed sheets and curtains, a pretty large desk with a new computer, a HUGE walk-in closet, and my own bathroom, with clothes all over the floor. 

I walked over to my window, which was hard because I couldn't even see my floor through the piles of clothes, and looked out. My bedroom was on the second floor with everyone else, so I had a pretty good view of the kingdom and the surrounding forest. 

I was just staring off into the forest when I saw a faint glow in between some trees. I quickly opened my window to go check it out, and pressed a button on my suit, causing it to fold up into a little box. I'm in wither form all the time anyways so I can just go, and I jumped out of the window, and flew closer towards the glow, careful to stay low by the trees.

I got close so I landed on the forest floor, put my spacesuit back on, and crept closer to the glow. 

As I got closer, I saw that the glow was a campfire, and that there were two girls standing there next to it about my age, eating, and talking quietly. I took a small step forward to see them better, surprised I wasn't noticed yet. And looked at the two girls.

The girl on the left had beautiful choppy ash black waist length hair, a slightly dirty purple and black  unziped hoodie, a universe themed crop top, a short denim skirt, and dark gray leggings, with surprisingly clean white converse. And then I looked at her face. She had beautiful, sparkling brown eyes, full, light pink lips, and a cute button nose. But I quickly noticed the scars. 

She has some, what looked like, scars that suggested she had been in lava, all over her body. Or, at least on the skin I could see.

But despite the scars, she is probably the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. And from just one look, I knew I loved her.

I quickly shook those thoughts out of my head, and looked over at the girl on the right. She had short caramel brown hair with light gray wolf ears and a fluffy tail. 'Not gonna ask' I thought. She also had curious chocolate brown eyes, a regular nose, and bright pink lips. She wore a torn, camo tank top, camouflage jean shorts, and worn, black combat boots. 

When I was finished looking at the two girls, I noticed they were both still talking. I took one more step forward, and SNAP, I stepped on a stick.

I cursed under my breath as the two girls stood up, alarmed. They both drew their swords, the black haired ones eyes changed magma red and she summoned what looked to be a lava and obsidian sword, and the brown haired one summoned a ruby colored sword. Ruby was one of the rarest ores in the world! I wonder how she got one. Anyway, back to the present.

The girls looked around frantically and shouted "Come out now or die!" In unison. 'Alright if I'm gonna die, this wont be so bad' I thought and walked out of the shadows, hands above my head.

"King Jason!" The black haired one said, startled. She and her friend dropped their swords and bowed.

"That's not necessary" I said, chuckling. "Now what are your names?" I asked them

They stood up, and the black haired one pulled her hood up to cover her face and said, " My name is Amia sir." in the most angelic voice possible. 'Amia, huh,' I thought, 'that's unique.'

"Beautiful" I said out loud, "Now whats your name?" I asked her friend. 

"I'm Max sir, Max Fang" she said and held her hand out for me to shake it.

I shook her hand, "Why are you out here in the woods?" I asked. 

They both glanced at each other and Amia spoke up, " We would rather not say sir, but what I will say about us is that we are outcasts." she said quietly, looking down.

'Ok?' I thought, 'Whatever, I'm gonna brake the rules!' I thought once again.

"Well would you two like to come live at the castle?" I asked. Max gasped and started whispering to Amia. Then after a while of them arguing, Max said to me " Yes sir, just lead the way."

And with that, we were off to the kingdom!

Yay! I finally updated! 

I just wanted to say thank you for over 200 reads! I never thought my story would get noticed so early on. But I'm just amazed!
