A loud groan escapes the lips of Robert, light hitting his eyes. He lets a quiet groan escape his lips before he turns, finding himself lying beside Teddy. He smiles softly, happy to find Teddy looking peaceful. Since he had quit school, Teddy has been on edge, as he's trying to keep up with the rent and his job.
Biting his lip, Red contemplates in his head before letting out a heavy breath. He sits up, moving so his legs hang off the edge. Grabbing his shoes, he places them on swiftly, before standing up. Digging into his pocket, Robert grabs the envelope, placing it on the bedside table.
A whimper makes him freeze in his spot. He slowly looks around, finding the sound to be coming from Teddy. The sleeping fellow whimpers once more, his legs and eyes beginning to twitch. Robert can only sigh, leaning into the boy. He runs his short nails through Teddy's scalp, slowly quieting him. When Teddy calms down from his nightmare, Robert only kisses his forehead, before turning to leave.
