Roman assured herself that all she had to do to make it through this day, was to keep a positive vibe
She was going with Erin to a very Important meeting, whatever title she is going to carry she was supposed to give a good impression

"A pretty face is a letter of recommendation"

They say

But she hardly felt pretty, she hardly owned any cosmetic, how did she become so dull, what happened to her, when did she just fall from grace

She looked at her reflection, the white suit was all she could come up with

What did white represent?

Truce
Peace
Honesty
Integrity
Confidence

She had lost weight over the five months she's spent being heartbroken and hung on her ex

She was lucky that skirt even hugged her waist
Normally it would just slip all the way down to the floor, like other clothes

She grabbed her purse and Keys and headed outside, right as she was about to call a cab, a black SUV pulled over in front of her

A man in her late forties stepped out of the car and walked around to meet her

"Miss Edwards?"
"That's me"
"Mr Armstrong requested that I drive you to work"
"Really now, you didn't have to bother, I could get a taxi"

The man smiled, it was clear Roman wasn't used to expensive taste

"No one denies Mr. Armstrong, and anything might happen with that white suit"

Hearing that, Roman couldn't protest, last time she dropped out of a cab, she put her foot right down into a muddy ditch, with that memory spiraling in her head, she quickly nodded

The chauffeur gladly opened the door for her and she gracefully got in, everything felt so foreign, she only saw such cars in movies, now in real life, that was a joke

Fifteen minutes later, they were in the parking lot, Roman was about to reach for the door after she unbuckled her seat belt when the door was yanked open

"Oh Thank you" she said flashing him a million dollar smile

She stepped out and stood with her purse clutched in both her hands

"Where is Mr. Armstrong?" she asked
"He'll be here in-" a distant roar filled the parking lot "right about now" the chauffer finished

A black Rover pulled over before them, Erin stepped out of the car, the engine still roaring, Roman couldn't help but stare, not at the man, but at the beast

She wolf whistled

"That's a beauty" she commented, her eyes still lingering on the shiny black Range rover roaring before her

She hadn't noticed that Erin was clearly amazed by her presence and how beautiful and sophisticated she looked, with her hair tied up in a tight bun behind her head

"Thank you Gerald" Erin said to the chauffeur

Gerald gave a happy nod

"time to go" Erin said to Roman, heading back towards the Rover

Roman followed behind and only when she was about to get into the car, she realized she couldn't make a step wider than fifteen centimeters

Her skirt restrained her from widening her legs

"Damn it" she cursed under her breathe

What was she supposed to do, make a split with a pair of  scissors, the skirt was a complete bodycon
