Roman decided that she was going to go along with it, she had held her phone close to her chest the whole night pondering if she should call Erin and cancel last minute then when she decided she was going to do exactly that, she realized she never really had his number

The fates had decided then, she was going, she wasn't sure who she was going to meet or what kind of people they are but she hoped they weren't one. Of those mean rich people she saw on Tv

She tied her hair into a messy bun, it was an out door thing so she was sure not to overdo it, it wasn't prom, she reminded herself

A tiny bit of mascara and lip gloss and she was done, her white halter top fit her just fine, she wore her long floral maxi skirt, which had a very wide slit that extended from her mid thigh to the bottom

Not that it showed anyway, only if she'd have to hop like a kangaroo

She heard the door bell ring

Erin had arrived, she didn't even hear his car pull over outside

"Coming!" she shouted as she quickly slipped on her flats and grabbed her purse

She took one last look at her reflection and seemed satisfied with herself

She rushed towards the door and yanked it open

"Morning" she said with a beautiful warm smile

"Ah hey"

Erin was clearly checking her out and Roman hadn't noticed because she was busy locking her door

She turned around beaming

"You clean up nice" she made a quick comment

It was her first time seeing Erin in something other than dark suits

He was wearing dark blue jeans and a black sweat shirt, that almost clung to his build body, and a denim jacket... His hair was ruffled and not neatly combed like the way he always does

"Can't say the same for you" he smirked

Roman shrugged and walked past him

"So which car is it today?" she asked
"My favorite"

Erin walked her towards a navy blue Audi,
And opened the door for her

"Thank you sir Lancelot"

She teased as she got inside

"Your favorite huh" she said as he got in the driver's seat

"yes, you don't like it"
"I prefer the Tesla, but this will do, I mean, my entire life, I've never even been in an expensive car let alone own one and then I get to ride in four different ones in two weeks?? I'm not complaining"

"You are more fun when you are less judgey"

"Me?? Judgey" Roman shrieked

Erin laughed and shot straight for the road,

Roman wasn't sure what kind of game fate was playing with her

She was in an expensive car with a very nice handsome man, who wore expensive suit and cologne, who was married by the way

And she half expected to find his wife in the car, isn't that what married people do, go together everywhere because they are one, or rich people didn't do that, or his wife was the kind that spent weekends in spas and country clubs with other rich wives

She looked at his hands on the steering wheel and noticed that he was always wearing a titanium ring, that must be his wedding ring, of course not all couples want gold and diamonds
