A message popped up on your screen but you didn't bother unlocking your phone. It was too late. You knew exactly who it was, but you didn't want to face him. Not today, or ever.
They way he made you feel then compared to now is almost shameful to think about. You couldn't even think about him now without wanting to throw yourself off a bridge.
The first day you met him, he was kind and unbelievably gorgeous. But looking back at pictures now made your stomach twist and turn, your head hurt and your heart burn. He had hurt and scarred you for life.
