Mangle's body had rotted and ash coated it due to the fire, blood poured out of the wound Golden Freddy have given it, its chest barely rose up and down as it struggled to breathe, and its right eye was dull. The white and pink fox looked utterly pathetic, which made Helpy's heart ache. Despite being his father's murderer, the fox didn't deserve this slow death. Sharp pain pierced through Helpy's head, causing him to hold it. Mangle's right eye flickered over to where Helpy stood, its nose twitched. "Helpy," it rasped.
The young bear froze. "Mangle..."
Mangle's eye hardened and its paw started to scape across the cage ground as Mangle inched its way toward Helpy. "Ye bastard! Ye did this to me!"
Helpy took a step backward, the cage wall banging against his back. The mangled fox in front of him was growling in anger, its mouth twisted in a snarl. The familiar long black claws of Mangle unsheathed and dragged along the floor. Terror overtook Helpy, freezing him. Time seemed to stop as Mangle crawled closer to the bear, his heartbeat seemed to beat out of his chest. Mangle rose up shakily, its amber eye blazed with rage. Its mouth opened, revealing sets of long sharp teeth. Helpy screwed his eyes shut, tensing his throat for Mangle's killing bite. A scream suddenly sliced the tension in the cage, Helpy popped his eyes open. His soon to be killer was now on the ground, its body twitching violently.
"Now, fox, you should know not to play with my friend here." a deep voice sounded from outside the cage.
A man stood outside the cage; he stood upright, his lanky arms lay limp at his sides, his dark brown eyes were blood shot, his face was covered in mud, his brown hair was spiked in wild ways, and his orange jumpsuit was torn and mud caked.
"Michael?" Helpy gasped.
Michael nodded. Freddy stood behind Michael, two feet taller than the man.
"This is our savior, Helpy. He's here to fix you." the brown bear said.
"Fix me?" Helpy echoed.
"You're lucky. You get to become an improved version of yourself, just like Baby and Funtime Freddy." Freddy sighed.
Michael approached the cage, his steps were firm and light. He unlocked it and swung it open, Helpy made up his mind. The young bear darted out of the cage, bounding his muscles. The ground disappeared under his feet and arms gripped him tightly.
"Excited, are we?" Michael's breath was hot on Helpy's skin.
"NO! Let me go!" Helpy kicked at the man.
"You will learn to be thankful. Let me fix you." Michael's voice held a threat.
Something stung Helpy's throat, his eyelids grew heavy. His vision blurred and his body grew limp. The last thing he heard was Michael's rumbling laugh.
