The Docks
Nikki's POV
Today was a special day since I really wanted to take Lizzie on a date and because all the stuff going on with Landon was on pause for the moment I couldn't think of a more perfect time to do this so here I was at the docks setting up a little picnic date just something really simple and I knew no one would be in this general area today because most people were either out in the town, doing homework or just in there dorms during the day people avoided the woods area but it was at night when they got filled by all of us kids throwing parties.
After I had finished setting it up and making sure it was perfect cause you know anything for my girl I used magic to send her a message and also sending my location telling her to meet me here and I had received one back saying she was on her way I really wanted this to go well she deserves this especially after what happened with her episode I just wanted to give her something special and something that can make her happy.
I heard footsteps coming towards my direction getting ready to see Lizzie but when I turned around I saw HOPE "Nikki, what are you doing here" Hope said causing me to get flustered oh god Lizzie is on her way we're done for "Hope, I could ask you the same question" I said trying to get the attention of me "I wanted a release and then I heard something which was clearly you" Hope told me and of course out of all the day Hope needed a release today "that's cool" I said trying to somewhat get her to go away I really just wanted to spend time was Lizzie.
"So what are you doing here, can I join" Hope said walking closer and I say Lizzie starting to come out of the woods "NO" I yelled catching both their attention and Lizzie saw Hope and tried hiding behind a tree I just Hope didn't use her supernatural hearing "um sorry didn't mean to yell it's just you have your release Hope and I have mine sometimes I just like to spend some time by myself and just chill, breathe get away from all the stress of everything" I told her and it wasn't exactly a lie that date was so both Lizzie and I can spend some time together but also so we can get a break.
"Are you alright" Hope asked me with a concerned look on her face "Hope I'm fine I've been through a whole lot worse a few annoying teenagers aren't going to kill me" I told her and she laughed "plus I should be asking you that especially with what happened with Landon" I say causing Hope to sigh before coming to hug me and I looked up to see Lizzie giving me a look and I looked back at her "soon" I mouthed at her.
"I'm fine Nik, don't worry about it and with all this stuff we'll get through this together like we always do" Hope told me and I just hugged back tighter "Always and Forever right" I said tearing up a bit and she nodded hugging me tighter.
Once we pulled apart Hope looked at me "thank you Nik, I no longer feel the need to change I just it's true some times talking helps, anyway I'm going to go do some studying see you later" Hope said before walking away "BYE, STUDY HARD" I yelled causing her to laugh as she walks away and when I heard she was far enough I looked to where Lizzie was hiding "you're good babe" I said and she came out barreling towards me and gives me a giant hug.
"Thank god, I thought I was going to have to stand there forever" Lizzie said and I started laughing "I would never do that to you love" I said and she started blushing when I called her 'love' my dad always taught me that calling someone love always words and it did since Lizzie grabbed me by the neck and pulling our lips together into a passionate kiss.
Once pulling away I was kind of dazed and she started giggling "I should call you love more often" I tell her causing her to laugh and nod but once I've regained a sense of reality I cleared my throat "ok so I have prepared a little picnic for you, some chocolate covered strawberry, some of your favourite things and drinks I know it's not a lo-" I started to explain but she cut me off with another kiss and look I'm really not complaining.
"It's perfect" she told me causing me to grin and I lead her down to the dock and we sit down enjoying each others company since with everything that goes on during or life we don't get to do that a lot so I grab a chocolate strawberry and start feeding it to her "so on a scale of 1 to 10, how good was this date" I asked her and she finishes the strawberry and she come closer how lips so close I could feel her breath fanning my lips.
"10 out of 10" she whispers and with that I bring our lips together enjoying the kiss living for this moment feeling nothing but pure happiness and forgetting about everything just living in the moment and being happy after we pull away I looked at the time and knew we had to get back inside "we should probably go our sisters will be wondering where we are" I said and she pouts in disappointment but I get up and grab her hand pulling her up and in for one last kiss.
"You go that way I'll go the other" I say once we pull apart and she nods as we kiss one more time before saying goodbye and parting ways even though we had to leave each other it was still an amazing date.
Hope and Nikki's Room
Once I get to my room I open to door and see Hope in there reading a book "how was your day sis" I asked her causing her to look up from her book "pretty good, you" she asked and I pretty much jumped on my bed cuddling into it causing her to laugh and looked at her "perfect, it was absolutely perfect".
