"Good news Yuri, the new Sheriff has been dealt with" I said with confidence.

"I know, I could hear the explosions from here."

"I couldn't simply get him quietly or alone, as far as I know the best way of dealing with him and making a statement is giving a show."

"Yes, but now we have a number of eyes on us. Meaning our operations are going to need to be slowed down, or even stopped if it's severe enough."

"Fair enough" I saw with a sigh. "We'll need to slow down operations for a little while. Up until the next Sheriff is chosen and we can managed to 'settle' with them."

"Speaking of it, have you seen Natsuki?" Yuri asked.

"I told her to light up the bombs, unsure if she got out safely but if so then that's going to get a raise."

"I really don't think we could replace her with the way she does things. More so after the bakery."

"True, but we can find another if needed. Our business has running for generations, we might just be heading to the tail end of this one."

"But we are still much younger than the previous generations. That is not exactly a good sign of things to come" Yuri says with a hint of worry in her voice.

"Right, we might have been getting too extreme with our actions. We'll start-"

Before I could finish outlining my plans, Natsuki bursted into the room, with her suit cooked.

"H-Holy shit, Why didn't you outline my escape route?!"

"Truth be told I wanted to get him on our side, that was my first priority. But now that he's gone and there is a hole, it's time to work out our issues and improve greatly with the new freedom we now have."

"Monika, I almost DIED."

"We have room for improvement."

"Room for improvement?! I could've been cooked alive! You need to slow the hell down and start thinking! Else your own head will get taken down by how fast you're trying to run and dodge."

I hold back my anger, and shoot Natsuki a look.

"Alight fine I get it, but you seriously need to slow it down, else you'll trip on your own ambitions."

"I understand Natsuki, I understand." I don't let my eyes go off of Natsuki. "And I'm assuming our Sheriff problem is solved?"

"There's no way any normal man could get out of that cooker. So It's on my best guess tha-"

Suddenly our attention is turned to a TV Yuri turned on, giving off a news report.

"The horrific attack left several employees dead, along with a number of patents. However the current Sheriff was saved by a heroine who carried his body out of the building before the final bomb hit."

"Wait I thought we only had 4 bombs planted?" Yuri asked.

"5, the last one was bigger in case they managed to survive the others. But it seems not even that stopped him." Natsuki corrected.

How. The. Hell. Is. He. Still. Alive?

"The heroine who goes by the name 'Sayori', was trapped in a closet for a time until the Sheriff managed to get the door open and pulled her out. However, due a heat stroke he could not make it out of the building on his own, leaving her to pull him far enough to where the final bomb couldn't hurt them as badly."

"Oh you have got to be shitting me" I say out loud.

I should've just killed her in the closet, I had the perfect opportunity to end it all. And yet it all fell through because of my cockyness. I hate to say it, but Natsuki and Yuri are right. This needs to end now before it all crumbles apart. "Is this a bad time to mention our next planned operations?" Natsuki said trying to flash a grin.

"It might be, but we have a few ideas on where we can strike next to take down the Sheriff's powerline" Yuri said trying to inject confidence in the conversation.

"I'm listening" I say.

"The Sheriff's pack held some scrap paper that shows their next plans of action, one of them being an investigation under a bridge to clean out the pipes under it, during that time our transports for all of imports will need to take a detour. Unless you take a new shortcut I found that should keep the whole convoy safe" Natsuki said.

"And just in case they see the ships, they will be distracted by a riot we will start to drive attention to them. We plan on getting loud and violent to get our message across hard." Yuri said trying to visualize her plan with her hands.

That does remind me, all of our recent endeavors have used a lot of our equipment.

"Alight, call the convoy to start sending in tomorrow night. And Yuri, get that protest escalated fast before it get's over here. We need to restock soon or else.

And if any of you see Sayori, chop off her fucking head and send it to the Sheriff himself as a threat."
