I drove out front of the police station, there was a certain someone I had to meet.

"Heyyyyyyy~!" I see a wonderful girl running towards me, waving her hands in the air like she's totally oblivious to any attention she might draw to herself.

"Sayori!" I shouted, holding her in a tight embrace as I spun her around.

After it came out that she had been working for the Don for years she had to be sent to prison, but that was 3 years ago, and now I could finally see her again. So far, crimes rolling around the city have died down considerably, Especially since the lot of it was under the Don's watch. But now it seems all of that has more or less cleared up, with many of the staff that survived the police raid getting better and better.

But that doesn't matter right now, I need to get my mind off of that case. Especially since someone else needs my attention now.

"Never did I ever think I'd know someone so happy to be out of prison, especially in as good of a mood as you are".

"They let me out on good behavior! Though they mentioned keeping a close eye on me until they know for certain things aren't going to go back to how they were".

"Considering you're sticking with me? I doubt it. But if it ever comes up-"

"MC that's beyond me. She's gone now, And I feel like I can finally breath without having her try and take something or someone else away from me".

"I know I know, but still". I hear her give off a heavy sigh. "If you ever feel pressured to go out and do something by someone else, talk to me. You're never going to be alone anymore".

"Just make sure you don't go breathing down my neck all the time okay? Hate to have you be a helicopter boyfriend."

"I wouldn't dream of it Sayori, the other cops will likely be doing that for me regardless of my orders anyway."

I finally let her go and we get back into my car.

"So," I said, "to celebrate your newfound freedom, I figure we should go to this wonderful new bakery that just opened up!"

"Ooooh, that sounds delicious!" She said, clapping happily.

We pull up to a small restaurant, the smell of baked sweets fill the air, and a certain purple haired girl rushes out to meet us.

"Why sheriff!" Said Yuri, "I see your fianc- oh! Wait! I mean...uh... girlfriend is out as well! I just arrived from the station myself!"

"Say, what ever happened to Natsuki's bakery?"

"...Let's just say even though we worked together to get out, We'd rather not work together again past that. Especially since I'm sure if we did we'd get fired for in-fighting."

"Oh yeah, Monika mentioned you two fighting at one point to get a higher rank, only for it to be taken by Amy." Sayori said

The fact that Amy was always under Monika's watch still hurts me, even after a few years.

"Well, let's let that past go away and get your butts into ordering!" Yuri said.

"hello!" Said Natsuki, practically jumping out of her chair as we walked in, she runs up and hugs all of us in an almost spine breaking embrace, she really is strong. Natsuki was able to get a shorter sentence due to a good word from Yuri, even if those two did fight a lot they really seem to work well together when they want to, she may not own the bakery, but she does work there.

"Hey Natsuki!" I whisper in her ear, "you remember the plan?"

"Oh yeah," she whispers back, "it will be everything a girl like her could ask for!"
