Kirstie POV
I was ready to go, and not to brag or anything but momma looks good. I'm sure Avi will appreciate mitchs work.
"Oh my gosh Mitch, you are amazing!"
"Yes yes I know, but we have to go!" He told me
"I thought Avi was picking me up."
"Nope" he said with a smile.
As we walked to his car he continued to fix my hair and my beautiful dress, making me laugh.
When we got to the restaurant, mitch told me to go in and follow the red tiny lights on the ground.
"Aren't you going in with me?" I asked him
"Don't be silly, its your date not mine." He gave me a kiss on my forehead and pretty much kicked me out of his car.
I walked to the small red lights on the ground which led me to a beautifully decorated table.
Avi was standing right next to my chair, waiting for me.
" Avi, this is beautiful! " I said as I leaned in for a kiss.
"You are too" he said making me blush.
Avi POV
We sat down and began to eat. Thank goodness for scott and mitchs great taste, the food was amazing (they even had barbecue so thats a huge thumbs up).
For a while we just sat there and looked at eachother. Gosh, she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.
"Ok, the real reason why we are here tonight is because I had to ask you a question."
"Haha ok..." she said a bit startled.
"Kirstin Maldonado, I love you. I want to wake up every day of my life and see your face. I want to kiss you everyday and hug you and be with you. I want to sing with you for the rest of my life.... so..."
She started to tear up. I stood up, got next to her chair, and got on one knee.
"Kirstie, will you do me the honor and marry me?"
"Yes! Yes yes yes, a million times yes!" She said
We were both in tears at this point, making it a struggle for me to put the ring on her finger. We started to laugh and hugged it out after.
"Oh my gosh Avi, I love you so much!" She said.
"I love you, too."
We couldn't stop smiling after the proposal. We were both so happy. Our happiness filled the room.
This is all I could ask for. I couldn't help thinking back to the day when she first hugged me in the hospital or our first kiss. I am the luckiest man on earth for being able to marry this amazing woman. I couldn't be happier.
