So after heading over to help Mordecai at the wildlife preserve and finding him and helping him track down blood wing and unfortunately killing her. Maya started to have feelings for the Doom Marine because of how he acted. To her he was a overwhelming powerhouses, but not only that once she got to know him she saw how much passion the Slayer had in him. He protected his friends in combat, Helping people around at Sanctuary. Occasionally having tea party with Tina. She knew that under that cold exterior their was a person that she could love. So the night before they would lead an attack at the Bunker to free/kill Angel, Maya walked over to the Slayers room.

P.S: To give a little note. The Doom Marine has changed drastically since the time he's been here. Obviously still being the Badass Slaying machine when he needs be. But he's happier now. He has people he can hang around with, that are just like him.
Maya: Hey Y/N?

Maya: Over the time you been here. Have you found anyone that you have a interest in (Blushing)

Y/N: Well now that you mention it their is one person.

Suddenly she felt weightless as his arm was put behind her waist so she was gently pulled closer towards him.

A couple weeks went by and after the unfortunate death of angle, Jacks daughter, The Slayer, Maya and the other Vault hunters went after jack to get Lilith back and stop him from opening the Vault and awaking the Warrior. By the time they got there he had Lilith sucking up Eridium and charging the Vault key (Unwillingly of course.)
Axton: It's over jack this is were it ends!
Jack: Hehe...That's were your wrong soldier, you see I'm not just gonna open the Vault. I'm gonna control thanks to the warrior . But first....

Slayer: I'll tell you this once Jack....she asked me to kill her. She was suffering and you just keep using her!

The Slayer did something no one would expect, not even Maya. He lifted his hands up to his Helmet and slowly removed it.
What they expected to be an grizzly old man, was a person that looked to be in his mid 20s with a scar on his right eye.
Slayer: Because Jack....I've seen it all. Believe it or not I've been fighting for thousands of years. I've lived it. I'll tell you something........You either die a hero or see yourself live long enough to become the Villain!
Jack: Well...You can shove it! I'm gonna get revenge for my Baby Girl! He charged at The Slayer and tried to shoot him with his wrist guns....but as we know, Handsome Jack was never good with guns. So he was ultimately meet with a few punches and jabs to the face. As he was left a bloody mess on the floor with the Slayer about to kill him...The key had finished charging and he was shoved away by a purple dome that covered Jack and Lilith.
Jack: HaHa...Your to late Bandit! I WIN! The greatest Alien power Pandora has ever seen....Is MINE to control!
???:SCREECH!!!
Jack: WARRIOR!!!......KILL!

Everyone watched as he simply ran towards it (while dodging a lot a fire being sent his way) Jumping up to its head and Uppercutting the fucker sending it onto It's back while he just pulls out his BFG.
Slayer: Bye.

Jack: No...NO! I can not lose to a child murdering PSYCHOPATH! I WIL-

He felt a hand on his shoulder and he looks at the owner.

Krieg: Yeah! I'm the COMMANDER OF THE POOP TRAIN!!!
Slayer: (Finally a Place were I can truly be happy.)
Epilogue
After finishing off Jack and killing the Warrior. The Slayer and his friends returned to Sanctuary with good news. Maya and The Doom Marine actually decided to Adopt Tina as there daughter and later got married. But....A portal opened up one day in Sanctuary and it was a person who walked out that The Slayer thought he would never see again.
???: Hello Slayer. You were right. I need your help.
Slayer: Why should I help you Hayden?!
Hayden: Because your home is in danger. And you are the only one who can stop them!
Maya: If you have to go. Then Go.
Slayer: But-
Maya: No butts mister! I know you want to save your home so go do it. But promise me one thing.
Slayer: Anything!
Maya: Promise me that you will come back to me and Tina.....as well as our little Girl.
He was very surprised by this.
Slayer: Are you-
Maya: (Laughing) Yes. Now go be a hero.
Slayer: (Smiles) I will. Now...Lead the way Robo-Dick!
Hayden: Sigh- I forgot you are talking now.
(Portal Closes)
