{JENNI'S POV}
I hate school. School is like a living nightmare for me, mostly because everybody loves to socialize and spread rumors while i'm in a dark corner reading a Sci-Fi book. The drama at my school drives me nuts and all the people in my class hate me anyways so I might as well die. Being a lesbian in an all christian school doesn't help either. I'm always being teased or somebody threatens to tell my parents I like girls, jokes on them my mom already knows. She's pretty much the only one to support me.
I slipped on my normal gay outfit with some skinny jeans, black converses and topping it off with some flannel. I considered wearing a hoodie to go over the flannel but that wouldn't help. I'm the only gay here and everyone in the school knows all thanks to Rebecca and her gossip girls.
I walked into school with a look of confidence plastered across my face. Just kidding. I walked in a nervous, socially awkward mess, per usual. I always keep my head down in the halls. Never look up. I walked into the classroom and sat at my table and started looking through my bag for my book when I realized something was off. The seat next to me had always been empty, but there was someone sitting there today. I didn't recognize her. She had long, light brown hair with the tips died blue. I felt butterflies in my stomach and that moment I knew she was the one.
