Natsu's POV
From the hill, I run down to Black Rose, leaving everyone behind me to catch up.
I wasn't going to waste anymore time.
It'd been too long since I'd seen Lucy's smile, and I just wanted her back already.
While going over the plan, they mentioned a safe.
I'll just go find it before they do, and then we can get out of here.
When I get up to the door, I look up.
The Black Rose symbol was painted above the door.
I look back at the other three, who were now running after me.
It wouldn't take them long to reach me, so I decided to wait for them at the entrance.
"Wow, this brings back some weird memories..." Lior states.
"Let's go inside." I tell them.
I open the doors up to reveal an empty guild hall.
"They must've fled after they heard the news..." Erza suggests.
I could tell she was trying to go around what news she was referring to, trying not to upset Lucy's cousin.
"Yeah, I guess so." Popsicle adds.
We take our first step into the cleared out room.
It was dark, besides the light shining in from the sun.
Things were all over the floor.
Tables...
Chairs...
Papers...
Cups and trays...
The place was wrecked.
"Well, let's find that safe!" I exclaim, trying to be optimistic about the situation.
It had to be somewhere in this building...
We'd find it eventually.
"Okay, there are three floors in the guild." Lior starts.
"There's the main floor, the second floor, where Lilith's office is, and the basement."
"Should we split off then?" I hear Icebreaker ask.
"Maybe we divide each floor in order to cover more ground... If someone looks alone, they might miss something important."
"Sounds good to me." Erza claims.
Maybe I'll just go along with them after all.
Lior seems to understand what he's doing, and he probably knows best either way since he's been here before.
"Okay then, let's get to work." I say.
"Good. There's no time to waste, so we should each get a quarter of the floor."
"I'll take this one over here."Icehead tells him, pointing to the location.
"Okay, go for it."
He walks off to his chosen corner of the giant room, leaving Lior, Erza, and I.
"I've got this one, then." Erza notes, directing her hand to the corner next to Gray's.
"Okay. I guess Natsu and I have this side covered!"
We all divide into our sections, getting hard at work to find that safe.
