Elliot was waiting for New to come out so that they could walk together towards their new assigned classroom, but when he saw the other walking out the door with worried look, Elliot immediately went and tapped New's shoulder, surprising the other.
"Elliot? What are you still doing here?" New looked surprised.
"I was waiting for you. But hey, are you ok? You don't look good. Did something happened?" Elliot asked, seeing New's troubled look.
When New saw Elliot had stayed and waited for him, he felt really glad. Even though everyone left, this guy stood and waited for him, which made New smile with gratefulness. "I thought you left. But, thank you for waiting for me". New smiled and earned an smile back from the other.
"No need to thank me. You're my friend and I'm glad that I met you, Thitpi..errrrrrr....New. Damn, why are your names so difficult? It doesn't roll with my tongue" Elliot cursed, only to get a laugh from the other.
"You're names the same. It's hard to pronounce. Elliot. How do you even pronounce that? French is really tough" New sighed and got a gentle punch on his shoulder from Elliot.
"I guess not, I think Thai is the toughest language of all" Elliot tried to defend himself. New just laughed.
"For me it's French. I guess we're the same" New smiled. Elliot smiled back.
"I guess. So.... Ahh, we reached" the other stopped when he saw the no. 15 stamped on top of the door. New looked as well. "I guess we're the last ones to enter again" Elliot smiled at New and the other smiled back in return.
"Let's go in" New gestured and Elliot followed him.
Once both the guys entered the room, New could feel all eyes were on him again and he could see everyone was whispering among themselves, giving him 'look at that beggar' expression and it seriously made New feel complexed. This was the problem of middle class people, when getting stuck with the high class profiles. It made him want to run away from there, but even before New could think of doing that, Elliot grabbed his wrist, dragged him towards the empty seats at the back row, but New could see those eyes were still staring at him as they made their way and sat down on the empty chair.
"Don't care about them New. Just focus on your studies. That's more important than this stupid asses" Elliot pressed, because he knew that his friend was having a complexed feeling as it was showing clearly on New's face.
New smiled. He was glad that he found such sweet caring friend like Elliot, who was just like his bestfriend, Jason. They were like two sides of a coin. Jason was caring and protective, and he could see Elliot was the same. Both of them cherished their friends. New smiled again and tried to caress Elliot's hair, when he saw a tall guy in his mid thirties, wearing a specks, entering the room.
Everyone stood up from their seats and greeted the male. By the looks of the other, New felt like that person must be their homeroom teacher and he was right. The specks guy picked up a long register book from the table and went through the contents. He then looked up and signalled everyone to sit down and others obeyed him by sitting down.
"So, you all are new students?" The elder asked, looking at each one of their faces.
"Yes sir" everyone replied.
"Alright. So, all of you are welcome to 'Elite International' and I hope we can be good together" the specks guy smiled. "I'm Watanabe Daisuke, I'll be your homeroom teacher from today onwards" the other introduced himself.
All the students started murmuring again. They were shocked to see a Japanese as their homeroom teacher. They didn't expect that. Even New and Elliot looked curious. Their homeroom teacher was definitely a handsome guy.
