What's that?!

"Hello? Hello? New? Hello?" Jason stared at his phone when his call with New suddenly got disconnected in middle of their conversation. He then dialled New's number again, only to hear the computerised voice on the other end saying, 'the number you have called, is currently switched off'.

Switched off? How come it suddenly got switched off? They were speaking just now.

Jason got irritated and he started dialling New's number again, but the computerised voice on the other end kept saying the same thing.

Seriously?

"Did that idiot just switched off his phone again on me or what?" Jason thought. He knew it was one of New's way of getting revenge on him whenever he gets irritated. New would keep his phone shut for few days when he didn't want to talk to Jason and Jason would go berserk because of that. He would go insane since he couldn't do anything about his bestfriend suddenly going off on him.

And now, Jason was thinking that New must have switched his phone off again to piss him off, like he always did to him.

"How mean can you get, you dumbass" Jason grumbled, pouting nonetheless. "So, you want to play 'switch off your phone' game on me again, huh?" He muttered, but, this time he was not gonna let New win so easily, so, Jason grabbed his helmet, his bike key from the nearby table and then grabbed his bag that was hanging by the wall, swinging it over his shoulder and gently marched towards the door, but before he could exit, he turned back once to look at the photo that was hanging by the wall, above his study table.

It was his and New's photo which was taken when their families went together for fishing along the river side, mook was also with them, who just tagged along even though she wasn't invited.

"Get ready bestfriend, I'm coming for you" Jason smirked, walking slowly towards the door. "I'm gonna make you pay for switching off your phone again on me" he then exited his room and walked out the house, marching straight towards his bike that was parked outside. And once Jason caught hold of his bike, he started it, and it didn't take much time for him to ride out of the lane and he rode straight towards New's school to get his revenge. Jason didn't know that New's phone was broken,and that's why, it was coming switched off.

The whole room went silent seeing the senior, standing and staring at them with serious face, still holding the broken phone

"Who did this?" The senior asked again, showing the broken phone to everyone, but no one uttered even a word. Everyone's heads were down in nervous, especially the guy who broke New's phone.

The students president looked beyond irritated when everyone's lips got sealed and he kept looking between the students, but, no one came forward to claim the responsibility.

The elder looked even more Irritated, so he asked bit harshly. "So, you all won't answer me back is it?".

New didn't know what to do. It was his phone, but, he didn't had courage to take it back from the elder male. But seeing the situation right now, he knew he had to do something, so he looked up at the elder male, only to find the other staring at him with his not so glad expression.

New gulped.

"Hey beggar, is this your phone?" The elder asked suddenly, startling New from the core of his lung, as he saw the other showing him the broken phone.

He nodded hesitantly.

"I knew it. Who would buy such ugly phone, apart from this beggar" Tawan mumbled, but it didn't went inaudible by New, as he stared at the elder male blankly. He felt irritated about what the other had said. It's not like it was his choice to buy such ugly phone. He wasn't Rich like them, but atleast, he had some morals in him not to say bad things about others. New Tsked.
