- October/16 /1368A planet far removed from earth, on the edge of the Milky Way galaxy, there exists a race of warriors. Born and bred for battle, these warriors were almost indistinguishable from the likes of humans, kryptonians, daxamites and more, except for one odd trait. A trait that led other species throughout the cosmos to equate them to barbarians or animals more than warriors. A tail, like that of an earth monkey. Many of these warriors endorsed this idea of barbarianism, considering they had already made themselves known as a race of conquerors to be feared.
These men and women, proud warriors one and all, were fighting for their very existence in the face of utter annihilation. Explosions rock the planet, forming craters and toppling buildings without concern. The weak had already been crushed beneath their invader's boots as their ships block most avenues of escape. "Come on, in here!" A male, seemingly in his early twenties with black hair and a brown tail tied around his armoured waist, shouts to his companions. Behind him, a pair consisting of a woman in her twenties with black hair and a brown tail wrapped around similar armour and a boy in his teens with similar features, barring the insignia on his armour over heart and a black tail wrapped around his waist.
Inputting a variety of numbers on an electronic pad, the man leads both of his allies into the now open room. The pair following behind him generate a ball of yellow energy in their hands before launching them at their pursuers. The energy explodes, causing a collection of surprised cries as the area around the invaders collapses atop their heads. Closing the door behind them, the three could finally take a much needed breather. "Why are we running, Mayze!? We should be out there! Fighting alongside everyone else!" The youngest among the group lambasts his older, male compatriot. "Our duty is to protect you. Not them, not this planet, you." The young boy is taken aback at the man's words, not expecting such a thing to come from his mouth. The boy turns to the female, hoping for a different response. "He's right, Kohl. You're the last of your line now. If anyone needs to survive, it's you."
The teen looks between his companions with a betrayed expression. "That...I refuse! You're my team. So obey my orders and let's get back out the-!?" The teen grunts as Mayze slams his fist into the boy's face, staggering him. "You led us in battle because your father commanded it. Now he's dead. His commands, and yours, don't matter a damn bit anymore." Mayze glares at the boy who glares back, gritting his teeth in defiance. "Nel, get the ship ready." "Right." The female warrior rushes towards a collection of empty ship silos, eventually finding a single, spherical pod still in working condition. "Found one!" She shouts back to her allies, earning a nod of recognition from Mayze.
The teen stands, defiantly, staring at his former subordinate. "I'm not going." Mayze saunters towards the boy, glaring down at him for a moment before Kohl is taken by surprise. He coughs up saliva as he looks down, seeing his companion's knee firmly lodged in his gut. "B-bastard..." "You're going. Whether you agree or not." He catches the boy as he falls, carrying the half conscious boy to the remaining pod. He places the boy in the spherical pod, seating him inside and strapping him in. The half conscious boy tries to fight back desperately, struggling to free himself as Mayze places his arm against the boy's throat. "L-let me fight..." Mayze glances over at Nel who finishes inputting a set of coordinates.
The man sighs, knowing that this would likely be the last time they were all together. "Now's not the time to fight. We're sending you to a planet in sector 2814. As far as we can tell, the inhabitants are weak and stupid. Stay there. Train and get stronger. Then and only then, can you come back. Avenge the Yasaijin." When Kohl appears to have accepted his companion's words, Mayze backs off, removing his arm. Kohl attempts to use this chance to escape from his forced confinement, only to receive a powerful kick in the chest from Mayze, winding him and likely damaging the teen's ribs. Nel closes the pod door, locking the boy away from his allies. "You'll heal. Just don't do anything stupid." "Bastards...I want...to fight...alongside you..." the sole window in the pod door begins to frost over as the temperature within the sphere cools, leaving the teen barely conscious.
