In a field off the main highway, six trucks have been readied, loaded either with pieces of the dismantled copycat android or simply with armed guards. The team watches on from the bushes, readying themselves for the mission. Superboy specifically watches as Kohl, now dressed in clothing similar to the Star Labs guards, speaks with both Superman and Batman. "Remember, Warrior. Your duty is to make sure those pieces make it to Star Labs, no matter what." Kohl nods in response to Batman's orders resolutely, with an air of military discipline. "You'll be fine." Superman places his hand on the boy's shoulder and smiles assuredly, noticing the slight look of concern on the boy's face. "Just try not to make your injuries any worse." Kohl smiles back gratefully, nodding once more in response.

With the rest of the team, Superboy watches the exchange and clicks his tongue in annoyance, having seen the entire thing. As Kohl slowly walks towards the truck, Superman turns his head to look in the direction of the team after hearing the clicking sound. He gazes through the trees and makes uncomfortable eye contact with Superboy before the man of steel turns away awkwardly. Meanwhile, Red Tornado, Green Arrow, Flash and Atom continue to oversee the arrangements, making sure everything is continuing as it should.

Kohl enters one of the trucks containing half of the android's parts and takes a seat beside one of the armed guards joining him on the short but important journey. Outside, the team rev the engines of their custom bikes and put on their helmets, ready to go. "STAR Boston is a go." The confirmation resounds over the communications. "STAR Manhattan is a go." With a quick motion of Batman's hand, the trucks begin their journey, splitting off in two seperate directions with the respective members of the team following close behind. Meanwhile, as the members of the league begin to leave, Batman places a stern yet mildly friendly hand on Superman's shoulder. "I told you. We need to talk."

Inside one of the trucks, Kohl sits motionlessly with armed guards all around him. At first, being from a militaristic race, he had wondered whether this would spark any more memories. Unfortunately, nothing of the sort has occurred. The silence, filled only by the sound of the android's coffin shaking slightly as they drove, is soon broken by the guard next to the alien boy. "First time?" "What?" Kohl responds in a confused manner, unsure of what the guard meant.

The guard directs the boy's attention downwards with his finger, pointing at Kohl's shaking hands. Kohl visibly grimaces, annoyed that he still doesn't have a proper handle on it. He answers the guard anyway, to the best of his ability. "First time guarding half an android body? I think so." "You think so?" At this point, a few of the other guards have shifted their attention towards the conversation. "I was told I have amnest-...ameni-..." "amnesia?" "That one. Sorry. English isn't my first language. That and I was taught kinda forcefully, like, telekinetically." The guard gives the boy an incredulous look. "You mean... telepathically?" "Is that the mind reading one?" "...yes." "Then yeah, that one."

Outside, as two decoy trucks seperate and leave the highway, Robin and Superboy follow along quietly until Robin breaks the silence between them. "If dislike is the opposite of like, is disaster the opposite of aster? See, instead of things going wrong, they go right." Superboy turns his head to the road, ignoring the young sidekick's question completely as other thoughts way on his mind. "Uh, clearly your not feeling the aster. What's wrong?" "Kohl." Superboy responds immediately with his voice laced in annoyance. "He shows up, goes wild and almost kills you, now all of a sudden he's buddies with everyone?" "He's been on ice for around 600 years at least, he woke up to find out his entire planet was destroyed and his people are extinct. Plus, didn't you also almost kill us?" Superboy grunts in annoyance, having no way to properly respond.

Robin ponders for a moment about whether or not he should say what he is thinking but decides to go through with it anyway. "Are you sure your problem with Kohl is because he's dangerous?" Superboy glares at Robin when the question sinks in. "What's that supposed to mean?" Robin swallows his saliva, Seeing the look on Superboy's face and wondering if he would leap off his bike and attack if he said the wrong thing. "Superman." The single word prompts the boy of steel to let out a low growl, shutting Robin up quickly. As silence returns to the two, a mechanical, animal-like sound begins to echo around them.
