Hinata blushed at the nickname.

You smiled.

(Y/N): Would you rather I call you Darling?

Hinata blushed even harder.

Hinata: (Y/N), be honest. Do you think I could've beaten Neji?

You thought before bluntly stating your response.

(Y/N): Not at all. You couldn't have beaten him. Others might say you could've, but no. You need to be told the truth, so you getting stronger is your priority. You may have lost now, but I know, one day, you'll avenge your loss.

Hinata hugged you before you left to the arena.

You and Neji faced each other, while Hinata, Hanabi, Hiashi and Shisui were watching.

Announcer: Begin!

The second the announcer begun the match, Neji charged at you, while you effortlessly dodged his attacks.

(Y/N): Pathetic! I can't believe Hinata lost to a weakling like you!

Neji took this opportunity to attempt to lower your guard.

Neji: Then that failure must be the weakest of the weak to have lost to me!

You stopped cold. Neji tried to attack, but you caught his hand.

(Y/N): DON'T EVER TALK ABOUT HINATA LIKE THAT!!!!

You twisted his arm until you heard a satisfying CRACK!

Neji: Ah! My arm!

You began you onslaught, punching Neji in the stomach, kicking him in the face, and hitting his broken arm.

(Y/N): Earth Style: Stone Fist Jutsu!

You created a stone fist and punched Neji's head. Once he fell on the ground, you got on his stomach and began to punch his head.

Hinata: (Y/N)...no....STOP!!!!

Shisui: (Y/N)! That's enough!

You stopped the second Hinata and Shisui shouted.

Hinata: The battle's already been decided, (Y/N)! Don't kill him for my sake!

Shisui: She's right, (Y/N)! Remember our goal!

You looked at Neji, who was bleeding profusely.
