The Apprentice

"This universe is actually a possible future of your own universe, something that could happen in a few years" said the Voice

"Really?" asked a curious Oijiro "What happens here?"

"In this future, Midoriya, Uraraka, Ilda, Tsuyu and Tokoyami, formed a Team known as 'The Titans' shortly after graduating"

"Really?" asked Tsuyu

"I could actually see that happening" said Tokoyami, receiving a thumbs-up from Dark Shadow

"But, obviously, like any other Hero, they have their fair share of enemies, which is what we'll be seeing now" said the Voice, before the screen lit up

The scene opens up with an aerial look on a building just as a black silhouette is seen bursting out from a vent in the ceiling.

"Who do you think it was?" asked Kaminari

"We'll know if you don't interrupt" muttered Jirou

The scene shows the silhouette running in front of the sign reading 'YAGI' on the ceiling. The camera shows the person, now identified as a young man, wearing a black jumpsuit with red highlights, purple arm and leg bracers, red shoes with a black metal sole, and a purple utility belt. His lower face was covered by a familiar silver and red half mask. What stood out the most though, were the eyes and hair of the young man, both a familiar shade of green.

"Deku? Why are you wearing an outfit like that?" said Ochako, with the boy in question merely shrugging

"It's like the one I have now, but with extra protection on my feet and arms. I wonder why...?" Deku said

"Yes Midoriya, even if it's set in a possible future, I find it weird for you to go for suck dark colors" said Ilda, and he was right. After all, most heroes tend to go for brighter colors.

"Well he came out of a vent, so maybe he was on an covert assignment?" said Oijiro

"Yes, that must be it" agreed Yaoyorozu

Suddenly, a voice came out of a communicator in his ear

"Not so fast Deku." the voice said "You've got yet to complete your objective"

All Might felt his body freeze in shock. That voice...it couldn't be...

"The device was too heavily guarded, I'll have to steal it another time!" the young man responded

"Wait, steal?" asked a shocked Midoriya

"M-maybe it was a villain weapon? Maybe you were sent to retrieve it before they could use it?" said Ochako, unwilling to believe what was being implied

"Yeah, I mean, that Voice dude did say that Midoriya was part one the team right?" asked Kirishima

"I don't think so," they heard All Might's voice behind them, making everyone turn around to look at him "the man's voice we heard before...is of an old nemesis of mine, if this Midoriya is working for him then..." he couldn't bring himself to finish the sentence

"A double agent?" asked Aizawa with narrowed eyes, as much as didn't want to believe it, everything was pointing towards Midoriya having betrayed his team

"Hold it!" Ilda's voice was hear off-screen, making Midoriya freeze in his tracks before turning around, revealing the rest of the Titans in their normal costumes standing behind him. Ilda stepped forward.
