RWBY belongs to Roosterteeth, DOOM belongs to Bethesda

"I..I didn't know you weren't human, Slayer" Blake muttered, crouching by the fire as Weiss too was slightly shocked. "I'm going, to be honest. I too was shocked but It should have revealed at the fact that you've killed a whole... nest of those things back on Beacon, and was somehow able to handle a blow from that thing." Weiss said honestly as Yang walked up to the fire. "Changing the topic. I can't believe we didn't find anything." Yang spoke up as Everyone looked to her once she began to speak. "We've always been fortunate enough to be in the right place, at the right time." Blake paused as she turned back to the fire. "I guess we can't always have luck at our side." Blake mused as everyone was quiet for a few seconds until Weiss decided to kickstart the conversation back up. "That's not what I ment.." Weiss paused as everyone looked over to her to see what she was speaking about. "Earlier. About upholding the Legacy. There's more to it than that." Weiss stopped once Yang began to speak. "Yeah, no me too. I mean.. I don't know." Yang looked to the fire with a bit of unknowingness (is that a word?). "I don't know either. I know what I want to do but I figured I'd take things one step at a time." Blake added her two Cents as Slayer just looked at the three standing around the fire. "Well, it doesn't matter, we know why we're here. Right?" Yang asked as she looked around the Fire.
Before anyone else could add in their words, Oobleck zipped in. "Ah, wonderful! A textbook campfire." Oobleck noted as Ruby and Zwei moved around the wall. "Fire!" Ruby said excitedly as she kneeled by the flames. "Soo... Warm." Ruby drew out as Oobleck zipped next to her. "Very good. Eat your dinners and hurry to bed. We have a lot of ground to cover tomorrow and we'll need to take turns keeping watch over our temporary abode." Oobleck made 'binoculars' with his hands as Slayer and Ruby rose their hands. "Yo." Ruby accepted as Slayer too accepted by grunting until Oobleck zipped away to do whatever the hell he does. With ruby having enough of the fire, She stood up and walked away and past yang. "Hey, did Oobleck ask why you wanted to be a huntress?" Yang looked up and to Ruby who paused to hear the rest. "I mean, what did you tell him?" Yang asked while Ruby temporarily wracked her mind for an answer but came up with nothing. "Hm. No, e didn't, weird. Oh well, Goodnight guys. Come on Slayer." Ruby hummed as she, Zwei and Slayer made their way towards the window to see what's going on outside.
With that out of the way, Everyone prepared for bed and ate their dinner. Ruby was sitting down with Crescent rose next to her while Slayer just leaned against the wall with the Super Shotgun against his thigh. Zwei walked up as the Grimm howled in the distance which made the poor corgi whine and leans against Ruby. "Don't worry, things'll be better tomorrow." Ruby comforted Zwei as she looked up to Slayer. "Right?" She smiled weakly as Slayer gave a gloved thumbs up. Zwei yipped quietly at Slayer as he looked down at the dog before toward the outside realm which Ruby too looked out. Slayer was still thinking about the Demonic Grimm mixture, and how powerful they are. The Hell Knight he fought on the Bulkhead was a bit stronger than normal but was easy to deal with. But what if they found some type of Cyber Demon he fought back on the UAC and was able to make it turn against the humans like last time? Many thoughts piled up within the Slayers helmet as he picked up the Super Shotgun with one last thought. {"Will this be enough to protect everyone...?"}

Everyone was asleep aside from Slayer and Yang, which Yang was keeping watch while Slayer was up keeping support as he didn't need sleep, food, or even the need to use the bathroom. "Hey... Slayer?" Yang looked back to him with curiosity present in her eyes. With his head turning to her, she continued. "Where are you from?" Yang questioned as she was curious, everyone was but they were asleep for now. Pulling out his own personal scroll, Slayer began to type a bit into it before showing her what he typed. "Even if I told you, you wouldn't believe me. But I will give you one hint. I am the oldest one here, but look the youngest." The scroll screen showed as Yang looked at him with a quirked up eyebrow. "You claim you're the oldest one, but from what I've seen of you, you're probably around seventeen (17) to Eighteen (18) years old judging from how tight your skin looks." Yang decided to question his age as Slayer lowered his scroll and his shoulders jerked up and down as if he was laughing quietly before raising his scroll. "I may look around that age. But trust me, I am the oldest one here." The scroll screen is shown as he stopped 'laughing' and lowered his scroll. "Whatever you say." Yang mused as she turned back towards the hole in the wall. Slayer was simply standing there as he too looked out the hole.
