The horses were on a slight canter making the wind blow Lilly’s hair all over. Aaron was hysterical about how Lilly looked. Which caused Lilly to cast a spell on Aaron that made him unable to tell his right from his left. “Why you little witch undo this pell!”
“Why should I, you were laughing at me and you should never laugh at a lady.”
“I wasn’t laughing at a lady, I was laughing at you! (Mumbles to himself) an ignorant witch”
“I’m not deaf! I can hear you, and if you don’t want any more spells or jinxes on you I suggest you stop!”
“You were brought cause you know potions and stuff. So I’m not to afraid of you!”
“Fine if you think that, then when we run into something and you need strength or invisibility or something you won’t get it from me!”
“Hey! That’s not fair, I’m quite important to this mission. You have to help me!”
“I disagree! No one has said anything specifically about you!”
“Fine! I’m sorry. I didn’t mean anything I said about you. I was just trying to have some fun.” Lilly undos the spell on Elwin.
“Thanks you. Honestly I was just joking around, didn’t mean to offend you.”
“It’s fine” Once Lilly had answered him the horses suddenly stopped. It confused the two but when they looked up at the cause of the sudden stop. There were giant spikes protruding out of the ground in front of this ginormous city. Orcs stand behind those spikes with chains around their necks. The orcs look mean, and ready to attack Elwin and Lilly.
“This doesn’t look good. Elwin do you have your bow ready?”
“Uh yeah I think I do.”
“What do you mean you think you do?!”
“I have it, just not loaded.” Before Lilly could answer Elwin people emerge from the top of the walls that are about 5 feet behind the orcs. There stood a variety of beings with loaded weapons.
“I thought this was Ghost Villa.”
“It is, it's just a spell casted on the ruins of this place so no one tries to come in and loot it.”
“Then why did you tell me to get my bow if you knew it was a spell!”
“I told you that because I didn’t know until I saw how the orcs were. If they were real there would be tension on the chains, and the people up there would be yelling at us with their weapons pointed at us.”
“I uh what!”
“Shush, it may be fake but ghosts still lurk here.” They gently trot into the area and the closer they get the illusion starts to fade away showing the real old ruins of the villa. The ruins covered in moss and overgrown plants. The building crumbled down to almost nothing. Cracks covered the ruins, and the cracks had bugs crawling inside them.
“This is kinda spooky. Anyway what are we supposed to be looking for anyway?”
“We need to talk to someone who use to live here. Someone who was born, raised, and died here.”
“How do we talk to the dead!”
“They are still entities that roam the world. Which means they still can notice you and talk. Just don’t upset or offend any of them!”
“How do you offend a ghost?”
“That’s is one way. They liked to be called spirits or an entity, and if you learn their name use that. Don’t get impatient, don’t tell them they are dead, and do not chase them. They need to want to be around you.”
“Ok, are we-” Before Elwin could finish Lilly had already walked away with her horse.
