Between the two was silence, and the only sound was horse hooves hitting the ground and the wings of a griffin. Every once and a while a screech from the griffin, but neither Celeste or Aaron has said anything. The horse wouldn’t get close to the Griffin, scared it might get eaten by it. Aaron looked over at Celeste but wouldn’t say anything no matter what. Aaron was scared that Celeste would be able to control him since she is a Beast Tamer. Celeste noticed that Aarons hair bun was slightly falling out and she wanted to help but every time she moved her brownie colored Griffin closer to him his horse would move even further away from her.
“I’m just-”
“Aaron your hair is falling out of the pony tail!”
“What-oh-Thanks.” Aaron fixes his hair but somehow without taking it out if the ponytail. Celeste was confused on why he did that but she didn’t want him to be uncomfortable so she didn’t ask.
“Are you able to control Werewolves?”
“What! Don’t be silly Aaron, I don’t control animals.”
“Wait, what do you mean?”
“I’m a Beast Tamer. I’m able to bond with animals and they willingly help me. Werewolves I’ve never tried it before, but I would never do so.”
“Can you understand animals?”
“Well yes and no. Not all animals speak the same language. Some animal dialect I do know and others are way to old that there isn’t any books on them. I wish I could understand all of them but I can’t. The older the species is the harder it is to understand them.”
“That is really interesting!”
“Did you know that Alpha wolves like yourself has a really old dialect? Alphas never wanted to share it so no one could ever learn it other than Alphas.”
“I didn’t know Alphas had their own language!”
“They made one a long time ago, when Alphas were born to a pack every couple of years. The Alphas of the packs would gather with the alpha/luna/leader of their packs and the betas. Just so the three that always came along couldn’t understand them they made their own language.”
“Why wouldn’t they want them to know and why are there two types of alphas?”
“Alpha is the packs leader and your type of Alpha are descendants of mightier beings. They only made this language when the generation of dark Alpha's existed. They wanted to rule more land, and they wanted all the power. When they started planning this they didn’t want the others that went with to know what they were doing.”
“Wow, that's-” Aarons horse reared up making him fall off. The horse kept whinnying over and over again. Celeste didn’t notice him fall because she seem to be entransed in something. Aaron looks up at what the three were looking at and there was a giant Basilisk. It was 40-feet long, bluish green colored, slimey, bright red eyes, and long sharp teeth. The Basilisk had complete eye contact with Celeste which worried Aaron. Aaron examined the beast and saw the alchemical symbol. Before Aaron could do anything Celeste was on the top of the Basilisks head with a giant sword that had a sun symbol on it. Celeste raised the sword chanting under her breath and plunged the sword into its head. It had fallen limp still with Celeste on top of it.
“What just happened?!”
“It can put people in trances so it would be able to eat them. With that mark on its neck it wouldn’t have been tameable, and with a certain incantation of a sun god then it wouldn’t have been killed.”
“What!”
“Come along this is Dew”
