(Y/n's POV)

Ruby was currently listening to music and looking over a magazine about weapons, Neo was eating ice cream, and I sat in the corner, bored out of my mind. If only I had a crazy love for something like Ruby and Neo do.

Just as I was about to get her some white fang thugs walked in with a orange haired man with a bowler hat. I stopped paying attention to the man when I saw one of the thugs walk over to Ruby.

This idiot tried to mug me, Neo, and Ruby. I grabbed his wrist and crushed it before I kicked him out the window.

The orange haired man looked at me before telling his men to attack us. In an instant I threw the rest out of the store as well. Neo and I left with a few items as "compensation" for stopping the man's store from being robbed.

We saw the things leader climbing up a building when we walked out.

Ruby: Can I go after him?

Y/n: I don't care just meet me and Neo at home

Ruby gave a short nod before using her semblance to fly up to the roof.

(Ruby's POV)

Using my semblance to get to the roof I chased after the leader. When I got up there he was boarding a Bullhead.

Ginger: End of the line red!

He threw a fire dust canister at me. I shot it twice, one to blow it up and another to blow past it and hit him in the shoulder.

Ginger: Ahhg you bitch!

He retreated back into the Bullhead as a dust infused dress lights up. The figure shot a fire ball at me, but a blond huntress came out of nowhere and blocked it.

The attack gave the Bullhead enough time to escape. As I started to walk away I suddenly stopped and couldn't move anymore. I looked over my shoulder to see the blond lady glaring at me while using her semblance on me.

I was sitting in a small room. I was feeling a little claustrophobic, but was broken out of my thoughts when the door opened. A man sat down and starred into my eyes.

Man: You have silver eyes

Ruby:...

He placed a plate of cookies in front of me. I scarfed the entire plate down shamelessly.

Man: Your fighting style reminds me of a dusty old crow

Ruby: I'm not sure what your talking about. My friend taught me how to fight

Man: Do you know who I am?

Ruby: Your the headmaster at beacon Academy, professor Ozpin

Ozpin: What's a girl like you using such a dangerous weapon?

(Ozpin's POV)

I called up Taiyang after I left the room.

Tai: Ozpin?

Ozpin: Tai I found your daughter

Tai: REALLY!!

Ozpin: Indeed. I've sent Glynda to follow her home

Tai: Thank you Oz! I'll be over tomorrow morning with my family

Ozpin: No worry Tai. Have a nice night

I hung up the my scroll feeling excited to see my most renowned students be reunited with their daughter.

Ruby walked into the house looking a little down. She plopped down on the couch and sighed.

Y/n: Are you ok Ruby?

Ruby: I'm fine...

Y/n: Do you want to talk about it?

Ruby: No...

Y/n: Are you sure?

Ruby:...That guys I was chasing got away because of some stupid blond lady. Then she took me into a small room to talk to Ozpin, who offered me a place at beacon... which brought up a lot of bad memories...

Y/n: What did you say to him?

Ruby: I denied his offer

Y/n: Why?

Ruby: What do you mean why?

Y/n: Didn't you want to go to Beacon?

Ruby: I do, but I can't leave you like that

An evil grin spread across your face as you thought of things to ask Ozpin for. You know if Ozpin personally offered her a spot into Beacon then he would be willing to do anything for her to join his academy.

You felt yourself jolt back, breaking you out of your thoughts. You looked down and saw Ruby, hugging you. You smiled and rubbed her head before she broke the hug.

You walked past Ruby and patted her shoulder before going to your room to sleep.
