chapter 8 | another chance

Minseo's POV

I wake up and look around to see a somewhat familiar room. I guess I really must have lost my memories. Speaking of, what kind of shared house is this? I mean shouldn't girls live separately from guys? I walk downstairs and see an empty room.

"Oh. You're up?" A tall broad shouldered guy says cooking. I nod as he smiles at me and hands me a drink.

"I know you don't remember me. I can't believe you forgot me. I'm so sad, Minseo. I mean how can you forget this worldwide handsome face? But, anyway.. I'm Kim Seokjin. You called me Jin so just continue calling me that. I wanted to tell you that you used to call me worldwide handsome but I'll be nice because you just got recovered." He says smiling. I drink my water awkwardly as I just nod. I stand up to get more ice in my cup before sitting back down.

"You seem like such a nice guy. Do you have a girlfriend? Or a boyfriend, in that matter?" I said not trying to be a jerk to gay people.

"No. Jungkook's the only one who has one." He says and I stare at him.

"I know... That um.. Jungkook's not my boyfriend."

"You remember?!"

"No. Jungkook just told me." I said chuckling at his response but at the same time surprised of how fast and loud he talks.

"Aish, that kid. He wasn't supposed to tell you." He says sighing and rolling his eyes. I chuckle at him before setting the now empty cup.

"I'm sorry."

"No. There's no need for you to apologize. It's all Jungkook's fault. You're just so cute." He says squeezing my cheeks and grinning. Surprised, I move a little back. He lets go and looks at me with wide eyes.

"Sorry. That was out of habit. I'm usually the mother of the group which seems weird cause I'm a guy.. But anyway, you were kind of like my little sister or daughter so I tended to baby you a lot. Sorry." He says apologizing again. I smile awkwardly before actually chuckling.

"No, it's totally fine. I guess I'll just have to live as the old Minseo again. It might be better if you just continue to act as you did before. Might, you know.. Jog back some memories?", I said and he hesitates. "I really want to get back to my old life again. And I really think you guys could help me." He smiles. He's so pretty for a man. I look at his face as he smiles again.

"Alright then.." He says nodding along.

"Oh. Taehyung-ah. You're awake? We'll eat once everyone else is awake. And look who's awake. She's single and ready to mingle. She's lonely and the one and only.. Minseo!" He says putting his hands up into the air and jazz handing (Does that make sense?) them around. I look at him giving him a weird face.

"Are you actually always like this?"

"Yeah, why?" He says moving his hands in the air still.

"You're just.. Weird. You're like an old man." I said and he gasps, rolling his eyes.

"Yah! Respect your elders. I know I'm weird. Okay? You told me to act like I usually do so that's what I'm doing! Why? Did I do something wrong? What's wrong with me trying to help you out on remembering all your past life memories just like you told me to?" He says really fast making me start to laugh my butt off.

"Minseo.. Did you sleep okay?" Taehyung says walking up to me and I nod my head before patting the seat on the other that wasn't taken by Jin. He sits down and looks at me.

"So.. Jungkook told you, huh?"

"Yeah.. So you're the boyfriend? Taehyung?" I said and he nods. I take his hand and look at it.

"Is this the hand I actually remember than?" I said frowning. I could feel his strong gaze on me as I pretended to not know he was looking. Then, three others come walking down.

"Hey. Minseooo! What up!" One of them says looking at me. I look at him strangely.

"Ah.. It's sad you don't remember me and you remember that little kid instead. I'm Namjoon. This is Jimin and Hoseok." He says pointing at them. I nod my head before lowering it to mini bow. They chuckle at me once they caught up to the table before each of them ruffle my hair and past by to sit at their seats. What's with this group and touching my hair?

"Since you already know Jungkook, you only need to know Yoongi." Jimin says and nods along with Hoseok.

"Speaking of." I heard making me turn around to the chairs. I see Jungkook and Yoongi sleepily walking down the stairs. With raspy voices, they both yawn and greet us good morning.

"So. From now on, we must help Minseo either get her memory back or help her move on. Which do you want first?" Jin says and I shrug.

"I guess move on. I already made such a bad impression on you guys that I should get used to being around you guys before actually trying to regain my memory back." I said and they nod agreeing.

"I think that's best for all of us. Jungkook and Taehyung can make up by then. Right guys?" Namjoon says and the two nod.

"Great. Then, where should we start? Let's just go somewhere and try to make new memories there." Jin suggests. They all look at me as if I was the one to make the decision.

"Sure. Whatever you guys want." I say and they laugh making me confused and awkward at the same time for being there.

"What?"

"Nothing. It's just. You always never cared on making the plans of where we're going. It's just that. Even though you lost your memories, you haven't lost your personality or your habits. The way you drink too. You always drink faster so you could eat the ice. Then refill it with more ice. It's just nice to know that you haven't changed much." Yoongi says finally speaking. I thought he would be the cranky type when he wakes up or as a matter of fact, I thought he would just have a cold personality overall. But they all seem nice. No wonder I was around them.

"Where do you want go?"

"Let's go to Gyeongbokgung and rent hanboks there." Hoseok says cheerfully.

"Oh! I heard they let you pretend to be like bone ranked and stuff." Jimin says getting excited as well.

"What the heck? You guys are like kids." Namjoon says laughing.

"Taehyung and you went there, right Jungkook?" Jin says and they both nod.

"How was that?"

"It was fun." They both say.

"Okay, it's set. We're going. So everyone. We should all get ready. But change fast, we're changing when we get there anyway."
