chapter 20 | not what I want

Minseo's POV

"I'm sorry. Who are you?" Taehyung says making me inhale a short breath before dropping to the floor. I felt sick inside. I felt like throwing up but nothing came out. I couldn't breathe well at all and my eyes were so swollen yet I couldn't stop crying.

"Taehyung... You can't do this to me.. I remembered you.. That's not fair. Tae.. We could have our new restart on us.. Why?" I said taking his hand. He looks up at me before yanking his hand away. I felt so useless and collapsed.

"Wh-Why a-are you doing th-is to me?" I said biting my lip with tearful eyes. I wipe the tears off my face disgustingly before standing up. I rolled my eyes feeling stupid.

"Tae.. Just tell me you're joking.. Please." I said and he smiles a bit. I walk over to him and smack him.

"I hate you so much!" I said and ran out the door. I see Jungkook look at me and I ran into his arms. He seemed surprised but still wrapped his arms around me.

Jungkook's POV

I really want her.. I do.. So much but it's just not fair to Taehyung. Like always, I'm worrying over Taehyung and not about myself. But in life, there's just some things that you need to just go for. I sigh before patting Minseo's head. I grab her tightly and bring her into a peck on the forehead making Jin gasp. Taehyung suddenly walks out so all of the others rush over to him.

"Tae! Are you feeling okay?" Jin says and he nods a bit before looking over to me and Minseo. I look at him before he calls her name. I look down at Minseo who was completely ignoring him. I shook her a bit but she didn't respond to any of it. Instead, she turns her head the other way sniffling. I wrap my arms around so she'd get closer and more comfortable.

"Minseo.. I'm sorry.." Taehyung says walking closer. What the heck happened in there? I can feel her sighing a few times before she tightens her grip on my shirt.

"Just go away, Taehyung. I'm not in the mood." She says coldly. She must actually be mad. Especially since she has her memories back. She always used to call him Tae but whenever she was mad, she only called him Taehyung. Taehyung hesitates to step back before he touches her shoulder. She roughly pushes him away.

"Taehyung. I said go away! I heard from Nana about all the things you two did. I can't believe you would do that to me. Whether or not I had my memories. And yet, you still have the courage to joke around about forgetting me." Minseo says. I frown not knowing what was going on. Everyone stares at the two that were beginning to fight. I step back a little sighing.

"SEE? THIS IS HOW I FELT! WHEN YOU LOST YOUR MEMORIES!" Taehyung says completely screaming.

"YEAH WELL! AT LEAST I WASN'T FAKING IT!" Minseo says breathing heavily. I slowly nod trying to process everything.

Minseo's POV

"And WHAT? WHAT IF NANA AND I DID STUFF?" Taehyung says making me scoff. It was so embarrassing to be seen fighting like this. I was getting so tired.

"What if Nana and you did stuff?" I said scoffing in disbelief. Taehyung's eyes soften on me and tries to reach for me again. I step back flinching.

"Just admit it. And don't lie." I said shaking my head in disbelief and he sighs before looking up to me.

"Yes. I admit it. But Minseo-" He says reaching forward.

"Don't touch me. And do not talk to me. I don't think I can trust you anymore.." I said. Taehyung looks at me with pleading eyes but I cut off eye contact.

"Both of you.. We need to calm down." Jin says and I glare at Taehyung.

"Let's just go home." Namjoon says sighing. All of us start to head back to the car.

"I'm not going into the same car as him." I said. You would think I'm being stubborn but wait until you hear what he actually did. And he wasn't even wearing the chip then so he was completely in control of himself. Jungkook gets off the car and walks over to me.

"We'll walk home." He says and Taehyung looks over apologetically but he knows exactly what he did.

"Minseo.. What.. What did Taehyung do?" Jungkook says making me stop walking. I look up at him and he hesitates before grabbing my hand.

"Minseo.. Taehyung loves you a lot. You know that." He says and I scoff. My eyes filled with tears as I remember what Nana had told me while I was being captured. We start walking again.

"If he loved me, he wouldn't have done those things." I said biting my lip again. Jungkook looks at me stopping.

"If you keep biting your lip like that, I won't hesitate anymore." He says and I shake my head.

"Then.. Just don't." I said and Jungkook looks down at me.

"I.. I can't." He says. I grab both his hands in mine before looking up at him.

"Why?"

"Not until you and Taehyung solve things out. Now tell me what happened.." He says and I sigh before nodding.

"Taehyung.. Him and Nana.. They kissed. Many times. Made out. They even had sex. In many different ways. I don't want to talk about what she said because it's disgusting.. But it's just.. Taehyung promised me that he would love and help me until I got to love him again or remembered everything." I said crying again. Jungkook pulls me in a hug before stroking my hair.

"Minseo.. I really want to be with you." He says sadly.

"But?" I said expecting something else.

"But Taehyung.." He says. I shake my head trembling at the shivers that traveled throughout my body.

"I can't do this with him anymore.. He's different. If he couldn't even wait for me for a week, there's no point. He never really liked me." I said and Jungkook stares at me.

"Oh come on.. You know it's not like that. You two were so serious." He says and I smile at him before rubbing my face frustrated.

"Jungkook. That was just us being hungry teenagers. It's all in the past. The point is.. He doesn't love me. And that's okay.. Because he'll can find some other girl that will love him like I did and hopefully, I could have you." I said confidently. Jungkook looks down at me before pulling me into a another hug.

"Minseo.. Nana got arrested for third degree murder and illegal surgery placement." Jungkook said.

"But she didn't kill anyone." I said shocked.

"I guess she did. She also has confessed to the driver of your accident." He says. I expected her being the driver but.. I still can't believe she would kill someone.
