chapter 24 | one less problem

Minseo's POV

"The pandas!" Chanho says and I nod my head before looking at the map.

"Okay.. That's our last animal for now before we get onto the bus. Alright?" I said and Chanho nods. We decided to go to the animals in the park first finishing up with where the lions, tigers and others were and then, go on the touring bus. Chanho pulls on my hand after spending a solid ten minutes staring at the pandas.

"One of you hold Noona's hand while I can be on the other's back." Chanho said. I gulped before looking at the two of them. Jungkook reaches in but is stopped by Chanho.

"Wait. Isn't Tae your boyfriend?" Chanho says and I forgot about him knowing. I didn't want him to know about the idea of breaking up already so I grab Taehyung's hand.

"Yeah... I'll hold his hand and then you can ask Jungkook if he can give you a piggy back ride." I said. Jungkook looks over to me and then to Chanho before picking him up and placing him on his back. Taehyung looks at me so I sigh before grabbing his hand.

"Noona! I want to hold your hand too!" Chanho says so I nod before leaving Taehyung behind and walking up to Chanho and Jungkook where I held his hand.

"Chanho-ah.. We can go to the tigers now." I said and he cheers so happily that he almost flings himself to the floor. I catch him before taking him away from Jungkook.

"Who wants to go to the tigers?" I said cheerfully so Chanho would find me more interesting.

"ME!" Both Chanho and Taehyung say. I close my eyes sighing before smiling at the thought of Taehyung acting the same as a four year old. I stare at him before looking away awkwardly. I start to walk off to the tigers where I let Chanho down.

"Hold on. I need to go to the bathroom." I said before looking over at the two boys.

"Jungkook. Taehyung. You both need to take care of him while I go to the bathroom. Call me if something bad happens." I said. They both nod and run along over to him. I look at them worriedly before running off to the bathroom.

Taehyung's POV

Chanho was staring at the tigers and as much as I wanted to squish my nose up against the glass wall and observe at the tigers like Chanho, this was a chance to make a little up to Minseo. At least, let her trust me again. I stare at him making sure I get everything right. I can't screw up again. All the sudden, this little girl who was a little taller than Chanho pushes him aside.

"You're in the way.." She says like a brat. As I was about go and move Chanho so he doesn't get hurt, Chanho hits the girl.

"Yah yah yah.." I said rushing over to him. The girl raises her hands up but before I could do anything, Chanho starts to cry.

"Ayy.. Don't cry.." I said hugging him. Jungkook looks at me worriedly before I try to pick Chanho up but he kicks me.

"Chanho.. Don't kick. Please." I said but he won't stop freaking out so I take him over to a quieter place until Minseo comes back running.

Minseo's POV

After finishing up, I walked out and started heading towards the tigers again until I hear a baby crying. I rush over just in case it was Chanho and surprisingly it was. He was on the ground crying as Jungkook and Taehyung try to pick him up but he kept hitting them. I run over to him before sweeping him off the floor.

"What's wrong, Chanho-ah? Why are you crying?" I said patting his head and he wipes his tears away pouting. I stroke his hair before glaring at the two boys who were supposed to be taking care of him or call me if something happened.

"What the heck happened?" I said and Jungkook gives me a weird look.

"Sorry.. I wasn't looking.." He mumbles. I close my eye trying to resist hitting him. I open my eyes hoping Taehyung would have seen something.

"This girl came up to him and shoved him out of the way." He says and I shot my head towards him shocked.

"WHAT?! Who? Tell me which girl it was." I said walking up to the tiger section again. Taehyung grabs my hand and turns me around.

"Minseo.. Don't make such a big deal." He says but is cut off when Chanho starts to cough from crying too much. I pat his back trying to calm myself while I was at it.

"Just tell me who she is so I can talk to the parent." I said and suddenly a woman and a girl comes over.

"Excuse me. I heard your child hit my little girl." She says and I scoff.

"I apologize if that's what happened but she hit him first. And as the older kid, she should be able to behave better. Unless, of course, her parents haven't raised her right." I said smiling to make sure I piss her off. She scoffs before stepping forward.

"Who are you to tell me that? Huh?! Who the heck are you to tell me that?!" She says smacking me. I bit the inside of my cheek getting angrier by second but Taehyung pushes me away while Jungkook carries Chanho. Taehyung suddenly grabs my left hand and inserts a ring on my finger behind our backs so the woman in front couldn't see.

"And who the heck are you?" She says staring at Taehyung. He holds our hands up intertwined.

"Me? I'm her husband. And that's our son so I'd really appreciate if you just apologized. That's all we're asking for. Now, I mean, unless you want us to just leave.. We will accept that as well. But just.. Consider how your daughter grows up, thinking she doesn't have to apologize to things she did. Now.. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I believe the way the parent acts is the same way their child grows up with." Taehyung says soothingly caressing my hand the same way he used to do when I was frustrated. The mom slowly closes her mouth before backing away. She sighs before waving her hands in the air motioning Chanho over. I slowly walk over a little more calmer now in front of Jungkook to take Chanho to the girl.

"We're sorry." The mom says looking at Chanho as the little girl stands there rolling her eyes.

"Oh my god.." I mumble rolling my eyes as well. She is the most brattiest kid ever. I just want to.. I shouldn't say that.. UGHHHHH! But I let it go as the woman and girl leave. I pick Chanho up before looking at him. At least, he had stopped crying.

"You okay?" I said and he slowly nods his head. I lean his head onto my shoulder so I could hold him tighter. I bounce him in my hands to make him feel a little more safer. Suddenly, I notice the ring on Taehyung's hand and look at mine.

"Taehyung. Where the heck did you get this?" I said. He blushes at me and stares at Jungkook. They both look at each other ignoring me so I frown. I take off my ring and hand it back to him.

"I got it when I-"

"Here. Go find another girl for this." I said and his smile suddenly drops. I gulp silently before turning away to go the buses.
