Sweet Dreams [COMPLETED]

chapter 1

*kring kring*
"ugh! What time is it now? 
I am too tired to wake up yet"
With my sleepy eyes I slowly open my left eye then my right eye
"it's 8 o'clock?! The heck?! I am going to be late"
Oh yes, it is 8 o'clock in the morning My work start at 9,yes I could get on time but Including my traveling time?
I will be late for 30 minutes, that would affect my good employee records.
"oh..coffee yes I need to drink coffee, if only I could reach that table"
I hung my head low and I kept thinking of the 3 in 1 coffee, mug and the hot water on a tray sitting across my apartment room, as I open my eyes and slowly look at that direction
"oh holy crickets!!! It's moving towards me what the?!!! Am I dreaming?!"
I keep on yelling at myself at the same time feeling so happy that I can get what I want without tiring myself from walking, DUDE!! This is crazy!!
"let me see,hmm"
I think about my clothes for today.
When I heard a loud bang
And look at that direction
I saw my cabinet wide open, when it was very close earlier. This still surprise me but nevertheless it makes me happy knowing I could use this every day

*hey it's your boss, boss devil*
I jolted so high I thought I would reach the freaking ceiling!
Oh btw that's my ringtone whenever my boss aka Mr. Devil calls or texted me but since I know my boss so well,
I knew it was just a text, he never called me.

'Eine where the f are you?! I need you here right now!  I'm going to give you 40 minutes if you're not here after 40 minutes I'm going to freaking fire you!!  Understand?!'

Wow what did I just read? 
Even when it was just a text I could really feel his anger.

Oh shoot no time for chatting with myself, need to go! I only have 10 minutes to prepare!

I quickly dress myself properly for my work which is by the way from the closet I just opened with my mind powers! Cool! 

Give me those bread! 
Then I just held my hands in front of me, in no time my breads are already on my hand. I happily eat it while running to get into the bus stop which is thank the heavens It's not crowded or anything.

Oh idiot of course everyone are at their respective works, I am the only airhead who's late, except these 2 children inside the bus.

*hey it's your boss, boss devil*

Both the students and the driver laugh at my ringtone ha! I guess I need to put it on silent mode. we don't want an angry Mr. Devil, do we? 

'eine where are you? Time is ticking!'

So impatient mister,tss tss That's not nice.

After a not so very long bus ride which only takes 25 minutes today that caught me by surprise.
I hurriedly walk to the entrance of the building and think of my office ID and Hope I didn't forget about it.
Suddenly A card flashed to my sight I caught it before anyone saw this happening.

"it's my id, wow my power is very convenient at this time huh!"
After talking with myself for a brief moment
I, not just walk hurriedly But I run as fast as I could To reach the 7th floor using just the stairs. I can't use the elevators right now, too many people waiting in there so might as well use my strength to good use.

I have reach my floor destination and head to my boss's office, I glance at my wrist watch and yes I am not that late, I am 1 minute early.

I opened the door and walk inside,

"Just what are you thinking eine? In 10 minutes the meeting would start and my secretary isn't here yet, when he's so needed" I heard my boss talking to me even when he's looking at his laptop, probably studying the presentation that our company would present later.
He seems very tired, I guess he didn't sleep, when on the other hand I have Overslept.
Way to go Eine Mendoza.

"Come on Aiden Real, It's not yet the end of the world, besides you can do it, the Presentation I mean"
I shrug my shoulders and laugh a little for my statement

"heck , we are friends but when it comes to being late? No"
He coldly stares at me

My Best friend/boss is very devil like when it comes to work but he is my friend

"by the way, aiden have you forgotten what 'day' today is?" I tried to look cute and stuff and I know he don't like me being all cutesy, by the way it's our so called friendsarry, it has been 12 years since he and I have became friends.
"It's Monday Dimwit" he answered without even giving me any glance, not even a side glance
Why so cold my friend? No wonder you don't have any girlfriend.

"I know it's monday, I'm late remember? What I'm talking about is, what occasion does we have for today? I am pretty sure I told you that" after I told him that He successfully look at me for the first time this day, but with the looks of death which by the way what he always look whenever he look at me. Yes, I feel the love

"don't remind me of that anymore, it's damn pretty childish" he said while standing up and walking straight to the door

"come on eine, let's try not to be late" he then again look at me coldly while I smile at him and walk beside him holding my memo pad.

After a very boring meeting, we , I mean Mr. Devil over there closed the deal. He worked so hard for this deal I know he would get it even without me being here.

He look at me with almost teary eyes
As I look at him too I held my thumbs up and my widest smile to him signaling that he did great.

After the meeting is over he
Walk to my direction and tap my shoulder signaling that 'we should go back to his office'

When I enter the office a sudden hug is what I recieved from a very cold lion

"you are way too cold, no pun intended bro but yeah your hands are cold" I heard him laugh a little because of my remark about him being cold

"I know, I am stiff while presenting to" he sits down at the couch located at the west side of his office which by the way opposite to my desk, yes on the east side you can see my very not so neat desk and As a secretary of my bestfriend/boss I am with him 16/7, 8 hours is when we are at our own houses

"you maybe stiff but hey! You closed that big big deal so congrats to you my friend!" I loudly told him his achievements whenever he accomplished anything
To show him that he is capable of doing this on his own.
Another smile creep to his mouth that make me smile even wider.
I like it when he smile, he look so warm and It's so rare that I want to document every single time that he laugh or even just smile.

"thankyou bro for being with me" he said while I give him his morning coffee when it's almost lunch time, well he doesn't care since I am right, he didn't sleep at all

He gulp down his coffee while I'm checking his schedule for the whole week

"uhm aid, there's something in your schedule which says, sudden meeting? What is it?  Where and why?  You did not put any details" I said as I look at him with my confused face

He tense up a bit with my question
That is why I even look more confused now as ever

"ah...Just meeting with my college colleagues" he finally answered after a long pause

"aid, we have been together since grade school, and we are both in the Business Management, your colleagues are my colleagues so... Who are they?" he sigh and look at me very deeply as if he could see my soul and pierce it

"eine they are from other departments so you don't really know them" he look so annoyed with what I just said but still replied. Aiden must have something up in his sleeves, he is hiding something from me

"aid you are not hiding something from me are you? You know I would support you with anything"
I smile at him so he could feel my sincerity

"eine, I promise it's just my colleagues from other departments
And I am not hiding something from you I promise" he then turn away which gives me the 'do not ask any further questions' vibe
As he sit on his swivel chair and focuses on his laptop

"okay! If you say so! I believe in you my friend just don't do anything illegal okay?!!" I tried to act super cool while saying it
He look at me and give me a thumbs up, then we started to work with a very deafening silence.
