"I'll call the school saying that I'm not in a good shape to go to school and you are looking after me" I say to zaviah. "But thats a lie." He says.
"Anything for you lil bro." I say.
I called the school and lied about everything. Then I texted payton.
Lexiii: payt, I'm not going to school today but it's nothing to worry about, zavs just having some girl problems and I'm comforting him. Sorry that you guys have to research just you and chase, but I looked into that dude and he's kinda boring so we should do Adolf Hitler. If you guys want to.
Payt: that's alright. Say to zaviah that I'm sorry, but you'll find a better girl and she will love you. Also, me and chase are coming over after school, also Hitler sounds good to learn about.
Lexiii: ok, I'll see you after school love, tell mr hudson that I said hi, and I'm sorry I didn't give him that gold star, I ran out🤣🤣 bye bestie boo.

I went back to zaviah. We were up all night, he was crying and I was byhs sure the whole time supporting him. See, it's not like any other crush, zav has liked her since 5th grade, he's even given her flowers and chocolate on last year's Valentine's day. Valentine day is in a few weeks. I have no one for Valentine's so ima just be eating ice cream and crying with zav, it's happened before, TRUST ME!
"He Zav, may we dance." I say grabbing his hand.
I turn on my music and start dancing, he was just standing there laughing.
"Join meee." I say "I'm embarrassed."He laughs. "No one's gonna see."I say dancing around.
"Omg, your so embarissing." He laughs as a joke. "I know right." I laugh. I jump on his bed.
"Dance party and I wasn't invited, you bully." Payton says coming in zaviahs room laughing. "Shouldnt you be in school?" I laugh. "Nah, me and chase told the principle that we weren't going today cause we were comforting you," he smiles.
"Wait, where's chase?" I say sitting on zavs bed. "Right here." He says walking in the room. "Oh, hi." I say laughing.
Skip a few hours
We were all in my lounge watching some movies. I was sitting next to chase. We were watching a scary movie. The couch was side on and I was facing the tv with my legs in me face. And chase was lying on my legs but there was a pillow, so his head doesn't hurt. I was playing with his hair.
I took my skinny hair ties off my rist and started putting half of his hair into one pony tail.
"What are you doing?" Chase says laughing. "I'm giving you piggy tails." I laugh. "Why?" He laughs. "I don't know,you'd suit them though." I laugh.
After they leave.
I just went into my room. Zaviah was fine and he was asleep. I have no idea where Loren is. I jumped on my bed and put my air pods in. Listening to my play list. It had heaps of soft songs but some were sad

I started to think about chase. How he smiles. His hair. His personality. His eyes. His laugh. His lips. I'm sure I like him. He will never like me back though. He probably thinks I'm weird and ugly and fat and a pig and nothing. I started thinking about me ex, he used to call me all those things.
For some reason I started shaking. My hands started shaking feeling numb. I started twitching. And then I started crying. I dropped on the floor and cuddled myself. Still crying. After that zaviah came running in my room
"Lexi?" He says barging through the door. "I-i-i can't a-a-anymore, i-i just c-can't." I stutter. "Yes you can, yes you can." He says sitting down next to me and hugging me. "N-no I can't." I said hugging him back. "Do you want me to get cha-" he says but I cut him off. "No! No." I say "payton." He says.
"Y-yes, I n-need him." I say. He runs to the phone. "Payton, sorry to bother you but lex is having a hard time. She says she needs you asap."
Paytons pov
Lex is having a hard time. I get there as soon as possible. I used to like her. But I couldn't risk our friendship. I would do anything for lex. She is my best friend, we have been friends since 1st grade. I remember when we made rings in art, and I proposed to her and we said that we would stay together till we die. But she lost the ring and we laughed it off.
I ran up the stairs and in to her bedroom.
"Lexi!" I said running to the side of her bed. She was curled up in ball. She was crying. "Lexi, what's going on." I say sitting down next to her and hugging her. "I-i can't anymore payt, I just can't." She says. I stroke her hair. "You can do This, Lexi you are the strongest girl I know, you can do this." I say still hugging her. "Payt, I'm not strong, I'm weak, I c-can't do this. It's to hard." She says. I sit in Front of her. "Lexi, listen to me, look at me, look me in the eyes." I say grabbing her face when she looked up.
"You are a beautiful,young, strong, independent women. You got this, you can get through this, you always do lex, and I'm here for you, no matter what. Okay Lexi, you got this." I say looking her in the eyes. "Payt, y-you don't understand, I've had these so many times, b-but this one,i-its not like any other one. Payt, t-this time I give up fully." She says, teardrops run down my hand.
"Lexi, I'm here, you are going to be ok. I'm here for you, and if you give up,I give up too, because we are so close that if you die, half of me would die too." I say letting go of her face. "Payt,I love you, as a friend though.
Y-you are always there for me, I really appreciate you, I can be myself around you,you are th-the best friend I could ever ask for." She says jumping into my arms.
"I love you too." I said it as a friend,right? Yes I said it at a friend nothing else.
