"Well Mel, do you still wonder how funny the universe is for taking you away from me? How funny it is for giving me someone who I would take for granted and be stolen from me in an instant. It's not funny at all! We were supposed to have a family of our own, but some asshole decided to fucking run you over! How I fucking lost it after your funeral, how I felt like you died twice and the pain I felt for losing a child that I've never met."
Cameron started to break down into tears again after reading the letter and screamed at the top of his lungs on the letter that would have been the last words of Mel to him.
He would finish down the bottle of whiskey and screamed again out into his balcony. "Maybe tomorrow I won't have to wake up again seeing a world without you! It's never fucking fair! I was the one who broke you and I ended up much more broken!"
Cameron would then see down below from his balcony, a pink umbrella just like his.
It was indeed Mel in the flesh. How could it be possible? Cameron knew that he had to get to her.
He chased her down the street, she was so fast that he almost lost sight of her but managed to chase her.
Cameron couldn't think straight anymore; he knew that he can't let go of her this time.
It started to rain, but Cameron couldn't be bothered by it.
Finally, he caught up to her, strangely he did not know how fast they were running.
He caught up to her in the place where they first met. "Mel for fucks sake stop! Come here! I'm sorry! Just don't leave me again!" Cameron screamed with an exhausted voice.
Mel giggled and spoke in a giddy voice, "I'll think about it. You know how naughty you are Cam and how much you've hurt me."
Cameron pleaded, "I have done you so much wrong, but this time I will never let you go or let you fall and be hurt. I promise to take care of you and the child you are carrying! In sickness and death, I will be there for the two of you. I will share everything that I have with you and our child with my wealth, place and everything that you two will ever need. Just don't fucking leave me again this time!"
Mel with tears in her eyes ran to Cameron and Cameron lift her up as she got to him,
slowly closing their face together and sealing it with a loving and passionate kiss in the rain.
"Well that was new." Cameron smiled as he pulled away from Mel.
"Now my pretentious knight in rusted and used armor, take me back to your place and let us settle in." Mel said in a tired voice.
"Okay let's do that." Cameron couldn't agree more as he is tired from all the running.
While walking and carrying Mel in a bridal style Cameron asked her, "Where in the world is my place again? Where do we go from here my love?"
Mel would just laugh and retorted, "We can go wherever you want, we have all the time in the world. Even our alternate universe self would have all the time in the world. Let's just enjoy the walk until we reach our destination."
Cameron couldn't agree more and just nodded, then continued to walk down the road while carrying her.
The couple who were on their honeymoon phase were still outside the yellow building.
When they suddenly heard someone screaming, the voice was filled with anger and sorrow.
They didn't know where the voice came from when all of a sudden a loud crashing noise would get their attention.
The noise was close to them, which was in front of them all along.
In that very pavement their eyes saw what no one could easily erase from their minds.
It was a man with blood coming out of his back, his legs bent into an unnatural position and arms that were broken showing the bones out of the skin.
The couple rushed to man's side and asked if he was okay.
Whilst the boy was trying to perform a first aid on him. With all that he can do, the girl tried to call for help to keep the man alive.
Still it was no use as the man was dying, nearing his death the man continued to talk and mumble.
He then spoke his last words, "I guess we're close to our destination Mel, I'm getting tired from carrying you. Still I will carry you with me through eternity."
With that Cameron released his final breath into this world.
