Mistakes

Six

I slowly rubbed my eyes seeing I was still cuddling Jason. I pulled my phone out my pocket and checked the time.

Shit. Shit. Shit.

I jumped of the bed sliding on my shoes and fixing my hair.

"What's wrong?" Jason groans

"It's six in the morning and my dads about to wake up so I have to go" I say running my fingers threw my strands of hair.

"Come by later?" He asks and I nod running out the door.

I unlocked my door and creep up the stairs changing in to new clothes (at the top). I straightened my hair and added makeup to my face.

My door knob turned my dad entering.

"How come your up so early?" He asks

"Well I just woke up and couldn't get back to sleep" I say and he nods

"I'll be at work all day so do whatever you want but only if it's legal"

"Okay"

"But tomorrow I'm going on a work trip I'll be gone for a week" he says

"I'll call you if I need anything" I say and he nods once again.

"Love you hun" my dad says hugging me.

"Love you to" I hug him back and he leaves.

After finishing up my door opens once again.

"Hey" Taylor mumbles

"Why are you in my house?" I ask

"I came to say I'm sorry I shouldn't have pushed you and said things about you being lonely it wasn't true" she says rubbing her arm.

"I mean I guess I'm sorry as well for shouting about you and chase but I promise I was just tired" I say and bite my lip nervously.

"Can we be best friends again?" She giggles and I nod jumping at her and pulling her in a hug.

"It felt like we hadn't been friends for around a hundred years"  she giggles in to my neck

"Same" I say squeezing her tight.

"So I'm not going to push you but the guys said you and Jason have been hanging out a lot lately?"

"Yeh just hanging out" I warn and she laughs

"What about Chase?"

"We kissed but we haven't talked, Chase said he wasn't sure" she shrugs looking a bit hurt.

I pulled her in a hug again "I'm sorry" I mumble and she just nods.

"We are home" Taylor shouts threw Chase's apartment and everyone's head shoot towards us.

"Your friends again?" Chase smiles "best friends" I correct him and sit on the couch.

"Jason your girlfriends here!" Joe says as he walk out the bedroom and hold the door open.

"I'm not his girlfriend" I say as his arms wrap around my shoulders and he sits behind me.

"Sure, it looks like you aren't as well" Brendan smirks and I flip him off and lean my head in to the crook of Jason's neck.

"What are we watching?" Taylor asks

"Avengers infinity war" Liam says

"Aw this is Ella's favourite movie" Taylor teases and I roll my eyes

"It's not" I groan

"Why not?" Jason asks

"Because the first time she watched it she cried because Tom Holland died" Taylor giggles and I flip her off.

"Sorry I'm just really in love with him and captain America" I whine and hear chuckles.

"So is all we are doing watching movies? because it's boring!" Tyler whines

"What do you want to do Tyler?"

"Well me and Brendan found a go kart place, we should go"

After arriving and suiting up, I grabbed my helmet and waited till last to get in a kart.

"You going?" Jason asks

"I want to go last" I say and he nods getting in to the second to last kart.

Once he was done the guys who worked there got my kart and I put my helmet on.

I tired to fasten the helmet but it wouldn't budge.

"You ready?" One of the guys asked standing in front of me

"I can't fasten my helmet" I say and bite the inside of my lip.

"Here" he says gripping the straps and loosing it then connecting them.

"Thanks um...." I was cut off by him telling me his name "Noah" he smiles "I'm Ella".

"Well Ella do you like racing?" He smirks

"No but I'm competitive anyway" I say and step in the kart as he does the one next to me

"First one to go round twice?" He asks and I nod.

The race goes quick a few times of us bumping in to each other and on the second time round I knock Noah out his kart making me burst in to a fit of laughter.

Once we finished we left the karts and everyone else racing.

"Let me show you something?" Noah asks and I nod.

"This is the control room" he says pulling me in to a little side room.

"And?"

"And this is the security camera so we can see every race ever done" he laughs

"So all the crashes?" I laugh as he sits down on the swirly chair

"Yeh, come here" he says and grabs my hand pulling me on his lap.

"There's a lot of things and there's even arguments" he continues

"This is the only room without security cameras" he winks

I feel out foreheads press against each other's and Noah's hand slide to my waist and I grip my arms around his neck as our lips roughly smash against one and others.

Our lips pull apart when the door opens and I'm glad to see it's one of Noah's friends.

"Uhh I'm gonna go" I say jumping of his lap and walking out the room.
