Twenty five

I sat down and crossed my legs.
"Okay and?" I say in shock
"She wants to have a chat with us"
"Right now? I'm busy"
"Your in your room doing nothing"
"Ugh What is this about?"
"Well your mom phoned me and she asked me if you would like to move to Washington and I told her no, selfish to make the choice for you but I just couldn't let you and I wouldn't think you would want to. Anyway after I told her no and explained good reason for why you shouldn't she told me she had heard you talking about it and listed all the good reasons for you to move but still I said no, so now she has contacted CSS who got social services to deal with the situation and here's Anna!"

I sat there processing the information my mom probably thought I wanted to live with her but I was joking with Jason when we was talking about that.

I rubbed my face and sighed. "Do we have to talk about this now?" I bite my cheek.

"Well I can come back in two days" Anna says and I nod.

"That's a good idea" I say and she nods speaking to my dad as I stand up. He walks Anna out and I run up the stairs reaching the top when my dad calls my name.

I get to my room and sit on the bed after closing the door. "What's wrong?" Jason asks, I think for a second but decided not to tell him because I know how much he'd convince me to go to Washington but my dad is the most important thing to me in my life.

"Nothing" I mumble in to his chest and close my eyes. "Well there is but I'll let you sleep and we can talk in the morning" he says and I nod while being half asleep.

I woke up to my dad lightly tapping me. "Ella?" He whispers but I just groan "Ella" he now says in a normal tone. "Dad I'm sleeping!" I groan and realise Jason's next to me. "Ella get dressed your moms downstairs" he tells me and leaves my room. I shoot up off of the bed and change in to my clothes (outfit at top).

I walked downstairs and my mom was standing in the kitchen with her boyfriend Chris who was holding their baby Riley. I rolled my eyes when Lewis was sitting on the couch talking to Ethan. "What is going on?" I say chewing my lip "we came for a visit and to talk to you".

"Okay... talk about what?" I say sitting on the opposite couch "one the wedding and if you would be a brides maid? because your my daughter!" My mom says sitting across from me. "No" I say while looking straight in her eyes.

"What do you mean no?"

"Do I have to repeat myself?" I say interlocking my hands and leaning forward.

"Your my daughter! Why can't you be happy for me?" She says clearly frustrated and I hear my dad mumble something but dont question it.

"Because I can't because this isn't what happiness looks like to me and if you want me apart of your life then your going to have to keep me separate from this family because I can't seem to process this and I don't feel like your a good mom!"

"A good mom? I think I'm a great mom I didn't just come here to ask you to wear a pretty dress which I'd pay for and let you have your hair and makeup done but I also came to ask you to live in Washington with me!" She raises her voice

"I know you want custody of me and you said you heard me talking about living there well guess what that's not because of you, I would never! I couldn't leave dad and after what you did you left not just dad heartbroken but me, Ethan and Ally" I scream and storm up the stairs wiping away the cold salty tear running down my warm cheek

I entered my bedroom to a dressed Jason who was running his fingers threw his hair. "What's wrong?" He said paying attention to my red eyes and running his hand down my arm.

"Nothing just my family" I groan and he wraps his arms around my waist as I wrap mine around the top of his chest and nuzzling my head in to his chest.

Jason's thumb ran over my forehead, and then kissed it in the same spot. I looked up at him and he ran his hands along my cheeks smiling which made me smile.

"Elizabeth come down stairs!" My moms voice echoes and I roll my eyes resting my forehead against Jason's chest once again.

"Elizabeth come down here or I'll come up!" She shouts as she's already at the top of the stairs, so it's not like she wasn't already coming up.

My door was open but she decided to push it hard enough for it to slam against the wall. I groaned and pulled away from Jason. "I just don't understand why you won't move to Washington with me Elizabeth!" My mom shouts

"Stop shouting!.. I've already told you why I don't want to live with you!" I sternly say trying to stay calm.

"It would be a good environment for you and you already have a room j...." I cut her off "no we aren't discussing this" I rub my eyes and groan.

"Well if you aren't going to move with me I'll just have to fight for your custody!" She points and storms out my room.

"This isn't fair I wish I was eighteen so no one could control me!" I sit on the end of my bed.
