She's gone.
I cling onto Christina tighter than ever, crying harder than I ever have before. I don't want to let her go. The second I do, I know I'll lose her forever. And I can't cope with that right now.
My hands are soaked with her blood. I bring one to her cheek again, and kiss her forehead gently.
"I love you," I murmur, my forehead resting against hers. "And.... I'm gonna miss you like mad. I don't think it'll be too long before we're together again."
By this point, I'm crying to hard to talk. Instead I just bury my face in her hair, letting myself sob.
I thought she'd never leave me. I thought we'd be together forever.
It's my own fault, really, for letting myself be happy. I don't deserve happiness. I didn't deserve her. But I had both. And now they're gone.
I don't even notice the people approaching us until they try to take my Christina away from me.
I shake my head, desperate not to lose her. Then there's people trying to pull me away too. Away from her.
"No..." I protest, struggling against them. "Please don't take her..." they drag me away, even though I'm screaming. "I need to say goodbye... Christina!"
I fall to the ground as they let go, and become a sobbing heap on the ground.
I've lost her. I'm never gonna see her again.
Someone's trying to help me up, but I push them away.
Leave me alone.
And then they're gone.
I look up, and I'm alone. They've taken her.
I close my eyes and lean against the wall for support, my sobs growing quiet and weak.
Come back to me, Christina. Please. I love you. I need you.
I can't live without you.
*FLASHBACK*
I wrap my arms around Christina's waist, pulling her closely to me. She chuckes and rests her head on my shoulder, closing her eyes.
"You're beautiful, you know...." I tell her, stroking her head gently. "I love you so much."
She looks up at me in surprise, her eyes widening. We haven't said it yet. But I know that I love her, and I had to tell her.
"Y-you do?" she asks, her gorgeous brown eyes sparkling as a small smile creeps across her lips as I nod. "I love you too, Will."
I lean closer towards her and press my lips against hers as lightly as I can. Her lips are soft and warm. Everything about her seems familiar. Her arms around me. Her lips against mine.
I catch a smile spreading across my face as I pull away, and she looks over at me with a warm laugh.
"You're never gonna leave me, right?" I take hold of her hand and interlock our fingers, completely lost in her eyes.
"Never," she shakes her head, "nothing could take me away from you. We're always gonna be together, Will. I promise"
*END FLASHBACK*
"You said you wouldn't leave me," I say weakly, as if she can hear me, "you promised."
Who took you away from me? I add silently, hiding my face in my hands as I start sobbing again.
A/N; Pain yay! :(
