My Vampire Mate/King/Master

Chapter 6

Mason

I groaned and grabbed my head. What happened? I slowly opened my eyes to see I was in my room. I felt blood on my head and saw some on the floor. Is that mine?

I slowly got up and looked at myself in the mirror. I look like shit. I sighed and laid on my bed, but quickly got up. "Maria?! Maria?!" I called out. I looked everywhere. The living room, the bedrooms, the kitchen, the basement. No sign of her.

"She's not here." I heard a voice say behind me. It was girl. Probably in her late teens or early twenties. "What?" I asked her. "The King took her." She said. "What king?" I asked walking towards her. "Tony Miller. He's the King of all Vampires. From America all the way to Europe. He's THAT powerful." She told me standing up.

"Who-Who are you?" I asked her. "Lisa Garcia. Your mate." She smiled at me. "My mate?" I asked. "Oh I'm sure you know what that is since you're a vampire too." She said grabbing my hand. She placed her other hand on my cheek and kissed me. I pulled away.

I have so many questions. "And I'd be happy to answer them all." She said out loud. "I didn't say anything." I told her. "I read your mind. You didn't have to say anything." She giggled. "Okay then." I said sitting down. "Do you mind if I sit on your lap? It'll make me feel better." She asked shyly.

"Sure. Why not." I said leaning back. She straddled me. "Ask away." She told me. "Ok I'll start small. Who are you?" I asked. "My name is Lisa Marie Garcia. I'm 19 years old, a vampire, and a member of a one of Tony's many kingdoms. I'm lucky enough to be at the one he's the leader of." She said. "Okay. Who is Tony Miller?" I asked. "Tony Miller is non-aging vampire king who rules over all cities, states, countries, and continents. He is very powerful. Many people on multiple occasions have challenged him. And by him being king, it upsets him that he gets disrespected. Many people have also accused him of multiple crimes, but have had no evidence. And of course you know in our world, if you fail to back up your accusations, your going to get executed." She finished.

"Come at the king, you best not miss." I said. "Exactly." She responded. For the next hour I've asked her a lot of questions. Then the last question came. "So last question. What does Tony want with Maria?" I asked. She sighed. "Maria is Tony's mate. I feel sorry for her." Lisa said.

"Why?" I asked her. "Tony has a history. A history that involves abuse and slavery." She said. "And you know this...how?" I questioned her. She looked at me sadly and said, "Because it happened to me." I growled lowly at thought of someone harming Lisa. "Hey hey hey. I'm right here." She grabbed my hand and placed it on her thigh. "I'm right here. Safe with you." She reassured me. I closed my eyes and sighed. "What did he do?" I asked, my eyes still closed.

"I'm not telling you. Only because I know how Male vampires get when their mate is harmed." She said. "I need you to do something for me." I told her. "What?" She asked. "Tomorrow morning, I want you to go back to the Kingdom and ask Tony if I could set up a meeting with him. Just the two of us." I opened my eyes.

"That's suicide." Lisa responded. "I don't care. I want the meeting to happen." I told her. "Mason, no te permitiré hacer una cosa tan estúpida!" Lisa screamed. "What was that?" I asked her. "When I get angry, I start to speak Spanish." She crosses her arms. "And what exactly did you say?" I asked her. "I said 'I will not allow you to do such a stupid thing.'" She said lowly.

I grabbed both her hands. "I'll be okay. Don't worry." I told her. She pulled her hands away from me. "No. Do you know how long I've waited to get my mate. I don't want to lose him just like that." She whined. "Ok. Would it make you feel better if you were in that meeting with me?" I asked. "Just so I can correct you if you say or do anything stupid." She said trying to get off my lap but I pulled her back down.

"I kind of like this position." I smirked at her. She blushed. "Question..." she trailed off. "Yes?" I responded. "Are you a virgin?" She asked. "No." I sighed. "That's ok. I figured you weren't." She said placing her hands on my shoulders. "Why's that?" I asked. "You're sexy." She shrugged. I chuckled at her comment.

As I chuckled though, I felt her get warm down there. "Seems like someone's excited." I said smirking again. "Ooooookay. I am tired." She quickly got off of me. "Vampires don't sleep remember?" I said getting up. "Well this one will today." She said running upstairs.

I think I like my mate.
