What if different dimensions existed?

"It's beautiful" He whispers, stunned. Still studying the maroon rose in his pale hands.
"You've never seen a rose before either?" She asks, feeling sorry for the boy who had never seen the light of the beauti...
"Well, we'll find out, won't we?" I smile at him only to drag him out of the door with me.
And here we are, out in the hallway, alone, no threats to see. This is indeed a bit suspicious, but what can one do except to continue, right?
"Wait do you remember where we came from?" I suddenly realise how unplanned all of this is. Did not really help that I have a very bad sense of direction.
"Um..." He looks around trying to recall, "Nope, sorry."
What seems like endless corridors surround us. Endless, empty corridors. But I have a plan. Which is to literally just choose a direction and hope for the best. I mean, what other options do we really have here?
"Ok let's go then" I grab his hand and run to the corridor on our right. He almost falls at first but manages to stay on his feet. Clumsy boy.
Corner after corner and corridor after corridor we run through, but there is nothing out of the ordinary to be seen. How big is this house? Hyunjin and I are out of breath and decide to take a little pause, leaning against the wall with our backs beside each other.
"So.. what are we... gonna do now?" He asks between heavy breaths.
"Well, I don't.. really know." I slide down the wall until I am sitting on the cold tiles. "I guess.. we'll just continue.. to look for a way out" Hyunjin follows after and we sit like that until our lungs are ready again.
We stand up, ready to continue our search for a way out. "So this way?-" I point to our right -"or this way?" I point to our left. Before Hyunjin can answer me, we hear a new voice.
"Hello, may I ask what you're doing here?" I got pretty startled not gonna lie, but try to brush it off and look like we were not doing anything illegal or anything.
"Oh.. hi.. um" I try to speak up, but I am at loss for words.
A middle aged woman in a black and red patterned dress stands there with a smile as if we are not in some kind of castle owned by an angry dragon who can speak.
"We are searching for the exit" Hyunjin speaks up for the both of us. "Do you perhaps know where it is?" The boy was startled and blinking with big eyes a second ago but yeah I guess go ahead and take a 180 and be chill.
"There are a lot of exits here. Do you mean an exit to Cloudicus? Arcanus? Earth? Or another dimension?"
HOLD ON SHE JUST SAID EARTH. MY EARTH?? DOES THIS MEAN I CAN GO HOME?? "Earth? You mean like the Earth?" I stare at her with wide eyes and hope.
"Yes, the Earth. Would you like me to take you to the exit for the Earth?" The way she responds makes me question if she is a robot for a second, but right now I don't care even if she is a robot. If she knows the way back home that's all that matters.
Before I can reply to her question, Hyunjin asks me new ones. "Luna, whats Earth? Why are you so excited about it?"
"It's my home, Hyunjin. It's my home." I smile at him.
Although his expression drops. "Does this mean you're leaving?"
