"You've never heard of a tree?" Now it was my time to be confused.
"No?" He answers with a questioning tone.

Luna pov

I don't know what to say next. I don't know where I am that people don't know what trees are. I don't know who he is. Oh dear, I'm so lost.

Awkward silence laces itself around us like an itchy blanket. The blanket getting itchier every heavy second that passes. Our gazes wandering around the cave-like room. Occasionally my eyes flew over his features. Until I couldn't take the itchy blanket anymore.

"...So where exactly am I?" I carefully lifted the uncomfortable silence off of us, trying to get rid of the awkwardness and genuinely wondering where I am that people don't know what trees are. Wait i'm saying 'people' but I don't know if there actually are any other human beings here. Or maybe he isn't even a human being.

"Arcanus, the land of no light" He states, as if it is a normal fact.

"No light? What do you mean no light? Is everything as dark as this?" I'm getting a bit anxious over here. What scary of a place can this be if everything is dark?

"Yup there's no light anymore" It comes out of his mouth a little too casual. I'm so confused.
"No light anymore?"-

Before he gets the chance to answer me, the stone door - that I did not even notice exists - opens. Out comes a little girl with a short and fragile figure. Her face is unclear to my eyes, although I can make out her overall figure. There's a soft light coming from behind the door, lighting the room up a tiny bit.

"Hyunjin? Are you in here?" A small and careful voice calls out into the room as a question.

"Ah yeah, Hani. I'm in here" The boy in front of me answers and turns his head in the direction of the stone door. So the mysterious boy's name is Hyunjin. Aha.

"What are you doing, Hyunnie?" The little girl asks while shutting the door. Thereby the soft light disappears too. Her feet walk towards us in small but fast steps.

When she arrives behind the the boy called Hyunjin, her head turns in my direction. And before Hyunjin had answered her question, she asks a new one.

"Who's that, Hyunnie?" The girl called Hani asks, tilting her head slightly to the side, while carefully pointing at me.

"I don't know yet, but she's not from here." He replies to little Hani.

She turns her head to Hyunjin again and whispers with one hand on the side, trying to block the sound from coming to me.

"Is that an alien?" Which unfortunately did not work because I could hear what she said.

"We'll find out after the testing"
