I gave you a thousand words of love, wise, sincere and kind
You did not take them seriously and forgot them for a while
I wrote many beautiful poems in hope to touch your heart and mind
Only what I've gotten in return was "thank you" and a tiny smile
Then I stopped all those words quiet and loud
In hope that you will at least understand my silence
At last I figured out that now you are happy and proud
Because your and my silence are finally in perfect balance
