My friend died today
Although I haven't seen him for a while
This sad news made a big hollow in my heart
And my thoughts brought me back to the past
When he supported me in hard times
Taught me to look at things with different eyes
Helped me through my very hard part of life.
My friend passed away
But he will remain forever in my heart
In happy memories he will forever last
His everlasting smile
Joyful sparkles in his eyes
Childish, playful gestures and messy speech
All of that is the image of him I will forever cherish.
My friend has gone today
But his illness and suffering has gone too
All his problems and struggles disappeared
Only what remained is the colour of his aura
Saved in the hearts of the family and friends
That's how we will recognize each other when we'll meet again.
