The duo and the spy

After a few hours of socializing with Jace, that's when she felt a slight buzz hit her after the seventh drink but she manages to keep herself stable, however, on the other hand, Jace looked kind of drunk  out of his head laying his head down paying the bartender as he slowly gets up stumbling towards the door.

"Hey uh you should stay a bit longer" she suggested to him

"No I'm fine" he waved his hand

"The young lady is right," says the bartender  agreeing with her cleaning a couple of empty glasses waiting for him to come back so he could make him a glass of water

Jace looks back at her and the bartender seeing the look on his face making him sigh as he comes back to his seat sitting back next to her nearly falling on the floor.

"J-Jace!" she gets up quickly catches him before he hits the floor taking him back to his seat while the bartender grabs a clean and dry glass filling up with water placing it in front of him

"You did the right thing" the bartender nods

"oh uh thank you, sir," said Tori smiling softly at the bartender

Jace sat there drinking his water that she ordered for him, as he continues to drink as the buzz soon fade away getting sober.

"Alright I'm sobered up now I'll be fine thank you for the water now I have to go see ya around" he fixes his hood on his head letting out a slight sigh opening the door leaving

"where are you going? the night is still young" she explained hoping that she'll have someone to keep her company for the night instead of being lonely all night

"Nah I'm going to go catch some Z's" he yawns a bit walking out of the bar

"BORING" she yells out

He heard her yell that out causing him to turn around coming back in the bar looking at her with an annoyed look on his face "excuse me?" he raise a brow

"ya heard me" she smirks adjusting her hat on her head

Jace approaches her with his arms crossed nodding some tapping his foot impatiently thinking to himself not believing that he felt for her taunt.

"Okay, missy what do you want to do then?" he sighs letting her pick

She was so happy that he accepted her offer quickly getting up out of her seat excitedly grabbing his hand walking out of the bar waving goodbye to the bartender smiling happily heading towards the stairs going up to the top deck to look for something to do that's when a golf cart drove by which gave her a good idea.

"where are we going?" he asks

"we're going to have a great time" she replied with a warm smile on her face

Once he saw that smile on her face quickly made him change the negative attitude that he had looked away clearing his throat blushing trying not to make it noticeable feeling this familiar energy from her but he couldn't put his finger on it to know if he knew her from somewhere he couldn't remember the familiar energy as it was a fuzzy memory that couldn't be remembered.

"So, are you like on vacation?" Tori asked

"Uh yeah you can say that" he answered rubbing the back of his neck

"What about you?" Asking her the same question

"I was forced to take this vacation because I such a workaholic back at home" she responded with a sigh

While they talk amongst themselves they didn't know that their being watched and followed the whole time watching their every move camouflaging into the crowd without being seen having the watcher take out their phone dialing a number on their phone.

"We found him but he's with a girl though what should I do?" A  stern deep male voice comes through the phone

  "Take down the girl and grab the objective target make sure you bring him back alive," says the female voice over the phone

"yes ma'am.." the figure nods hanging up

Once the two made it upstairs to the golf course Jace looked around confused wondering what's going to happen as Tori runs over to an empty golf cart getting in seeing the keys already there as she starts up the cart driving around coming over to him smiling pulling up next to him

"hey get in," she says excitedly patting the seat that was next to her waiting for him to get in

"Why not offers like this don't come around that often" he shrugs getting in driving off going around the golf course driving around enjoying the ride with her as he continues to get slight flashbacks of a little girl with the same color that Tori has which was brown and the same personality. He groans a bit holding his head getting a headache making him groan in pain having more flashbacks flooding his mind.

Tori turns noticing that he was in pain stopping the cart looking at him concerned gently touching his arm "Jace?" She looks at him worried, he felt her touch him quickly reacting lifting his head up showing his white pale eyes with no pupils glowing a bit causing Tori's eyes widens in shock and fear seeing him get out of the cart quickly take out a pair of sunglasses from out of his hoodie pocket putting it on leaving quickly.
