"Hold up." Eddie stopped Nathan.

"What?" Nathan asked.

"You talked to Aaron?" Eddie asked.

"Yeah." Nathan nodded. "Why?"

"Why would you do that? It seems very dumb and contrived to be honest. I mean, is that really where this was going organically?"

"Eddie, this is real. I'm not making this up."

"No, no. I know. But I'm just wondering why you'd do that."

Nathan shrugged. "Ever heard the saying truth is stranger than fiction?"

"Yeah?" Eddie waited for Nathan to answer.

"Well, honestly, I realized I did a spell when Aaron said 'Imagine if everything was a soap!' And I thought if I talked to him about it, we could find out how to undo it together."

"I don't know, seems fishy." Eddie was unconvinced.

"Look, do you want to hear the rest or not?"

"Obviously. I'm invested now."

"Right. Let's get back now. And try not to interrupt me, we don't have much time before I go away, maybe forever."

"Right. Sorry."

"So, the trip. Oh, boy..."
