I apologize to fans of Tierra de Reyes. I've only watched episode 1 so far. Forgive me. Also, the crown on the cover is slightly tilted. I didn't notice it until now.

Eleanor

Eleanor tapped her foot against the ground as she looked around the parking lot. She'd decided to take Aaron's advice. The only way to tackle this situation was head-on. But Eleanor was scared.

How could she not be? The man she thought was so good and cool and fun turned out to be a rotten scumbag. Truth be told, she could see her future with him.

They'd live in a suburb. Them, their son Neil, their cat Bruno, their white picket fence and their dream house and their lives would be beautiful and dreamlike.

But now, that was all gone. Eleanor was once again unsure of what her life would be. And there wasn't a clear answer in sight. What the fuck was she even supposed to do?

Even if she found Drew...Mr. Reynard, what the fuck would she say? She had so much to say. But no idea how to say it. Could she just confront him about his lies? Should she just punch him and walk away? No, that'd be more attention than she wanted. The last thing she wanted was to have people knowing about them.

The parking lot was mostly deserted save for a few kids waiting for their parents to pick them up and for a few cars that belonged to the faculty.

Eleanor looked at the sky. It was starting to get a little hazy. Mr. Reynard was still nowhere to be seen.

Where the fuck are you? Eleanor was starting to lose her patience with every passing second. If he didn't show, she'd have to leave. Her parents would be wondering where she was. And the longer she stayed out, the more elaborate of a lie she'd have to make. And she'd never been much good at elaborate lies. Too many variables. Too much variation possible. More ways to screw up than she cared for.

But it didn't seem like Drew was going to show. Five minutes passed by with no sign of him.

He hadn't left yet. His car was still in the parking. Which only meant he was avoiding her. This just angered Eleanor even more.

It was almost a good twenty minutes after school had ended that Drew emerged from the building's side entrance, reserved for the faculty. Thankfully, it was in plain view of the main entrance into the building.

He walked quietly and quickly through the lot, dashing for his car. The lot was completely empty now. Except for Drew, Eleanor and some other kid, everyone else was gone. The rest of the faculty was either gone or still inside.

There was no one around to see what was about to go down.

Which Eleanor was more thankful for than anyone could realize.

Drew ran through the lot, fast as he could. But he stopped dead in his tracks when he heard the Eleanor's voice behind him. On retrospect, he'd have been much better off running.

But he stopped.

"Mr. Reynard." Eleanor said as she caught up to him.

He turned to face her. "What do you want, Eleanor?" He spoke in a hushed voice.

"How about the truth for once, you fucking jackass?" Eleanor whisper-shouted.

"Just walk and talk. This looks suspicious."

"Oh, wow. You're worried about this looking wrong?" Eleanor said.

"Just walk." Drew said and began to walk.
